Abington Park
Enjoyed a lovely walk round Abington Park this morning. Saw two herons when I walked past the lake. Had a go on some of the outdoor gym equipment. Felt so much better afterwards.

Beautiful park. There’s a lake, a museum (free entry), an aviary and a lovely cafe.

Really big park with plenty for the kids to do. Surrounding area is also very nice and quiet. If you like birds then there's a bird cage area next to the museum and plenty of ducks. There's also a band playing there occasionally. I would try to bring your own food and drink though as the cafe in the middle of the park is extremely expensive.

Lovely outdoor area, well kept and great location for a picnic or a dog walk. Good parking on the street and both toilet facilities and a cafe
