I am one of the growing number of people who have been scammed by LLHI. They made the sale (loft insulation) took a 50% deposit and failed to turn up to do the work (3 times). The promise a refund but I've been chasing it now for a couple of months.It looks like they are trying to close the company down now.

Really unhappy with the service start to finish…We put out a bark advert after discovering we had a mouse problem. They got back to us first thing the following morning offering to come in to us the next day. They were very pushy on the phone, giving loads and loads of (scary) information and repeating how important it was that we got the problem addressed asap - a feeling which at the time was shared by us. They quoted us £240 for a “guaranteed” service. I feel we were completely mis-sold and given false information, which was the only reason we agreed to the service. The service was described as a bespoke package, which was one of a kind on the market, that included an extensive investigation of the property inside and out, and guaranteed to completely resolve our problem. This was absolutely not the case.Firstly, they had double booked themselves so ended up changing our appointment to 3 days later. We were given a time slot of 9-11am which would be confirmed to a specific time the day of. At 11:15 I had to call them to ask what was happening as I hadn’t heard anything only to be told they wouldn’t be with us until 12:30 due to van troubles. This wouldn’t have been an issue but we’d stayed in all morning waiting as this delay hadn’t been communicated to us.When they arrived for the appointment, the “extensive inspection” lasted all of 20 minutes and the man that conducted the inspection was very abrupt. The inspection report was very basic and we were being pushed into buying further, extremely expensive and I believe, unnecessary, services. The original inspection fee was sold as an all inclusive package so being quoted a further £2700 was very upsetting.Finally, I received a phone call from them today in which they once again tried to push me into buying the further services by offering a one time price if I agreed there and then. When I said no, the phone call was ended very abruptly.My main concern is for more vulnerable people like the elderly being pushed into services that they cannot afford.Unfortunately, overall the entire experience has been extremely disappointing and I will be looking into taking this complaint further as I don’t want other people to be mis-sold like we have!

Excellent service in Loft & Cavity Wall Insulation. Staff started job early and got straight onto it. Good communication, polite and cleaned up after themselves. Will order services with this company again.

Took money then announced they couldn't fulfil contract and no refund to date. Now I find company has been dissolved. AVOID.
