In the undeniably English way, I only leave reviews in extreme cases (and allow me to be frank, it’s usually in disappointment). But Natasha and The Strand come under the extremely rare category of excellent.The same lady has cut and coloured my hair for the last 20 years, but after moving 200miles away, I came to the crushing conclusion that it was simply no longer feasible to drag my two young children, on a five hour journey, just to freshen up my tresses. So I was understandably nervous about starting the overwhelming search for a new hairdresser (first world problems hey!).Armed with the recommendation of a friend, and after stalking The Strand’s Instagram feed (I implore you to watch the hair washing routine, it has genuinely changed my life), I *bravely* entered the hallowed halls of The Strand.From the beautiful decor, warm welcome and thorough consultation, everything was just lovely.Goodness even the coffee was good!Natasha herself is warm, bubbly and so obviously passionate about her profession that it put me immediately at ease. She explained everything and generously shared her vast haircare knowledge as I plagued her with questions. My balayage she created was beautiful and I left with the best hair cut and colour of my life.I would like to add that I DO NOT know this woman personally, I just truly appreciate someone who excels at their craft.Basically, I’m going back.

The only place I will ever go to get my hair done!! The most beautiful salon too, it's a real treat to go there and relax and come out feeling amazing.
