fantastic kennels, collected our dogs yesterday and they were so happy and in great condition, all the staff are very friendly and helpful, dogs love coming and never look back at us when we leave them, thank you for being so friendly and caring, see you in 2 months

We have used these kennel for years. Our cats have always been very well looked after. The kennels are spotless. One of our cats had to have medication it was no problem to staff.

Friendly and helpful staff who plainly care about the animals in their care.Professionally run with all appropriate measures in place. Only downside is that they only take cash payments.

Thunder was so happy of staying with them and well cared after. Thank you all for your hard work

Disappointing experience. When we dropped her off we were not given the option to see where she would be staying and the staff was unfriendly. We picked her up at 10am and they charged us for that whole day. When we brought her home we saw that she was covered in fleas and very dirty. We then realised that she looked a lot skinnier and seemed to have lost a lot of weight. Overall it was a very poor experience & would not recommend to anyone. Will not be using this cattery again.

I had my cat booked in with them- they asked me to arrange his injections and make sure everything was organised for them to have him. He was (WAS) due to be dropped off tomorrow and I called today to find out the earliest I could drop him off and was told 10am! The woman on the phone was so unhelpful when I explained I had to be on the road at 8am to get to Scotland for a ferry to Shetland. She said ‘there’s nothing I can do because I’m going to pick up a cat for someone who doesn’t drive’. I asked if I could pay extra and bring him this evening and she said ‘no- it’s too dark up there now, it’s pitch black. No one can go up there now’. Bearing in mind this was BEFORE 5pm! And it states there is someone there 24 hours a day! She told me there was nothing she could do to help me. Customer service was appalling.In the end I’ve found a different cattery - Tailwaggers- who told me that they too were only open at 10am. But when I told them my predicament I was told that there is someone there from 8am and I could come and drop him off. She was so lovely on the phone and very helpful- even though by this point it was 5.20pm and I was trying to get a new booking made for the next day AND needed an early drop off.I would NOT recommend Ribble Valley Boarding Kennels & Cattery. I thought the women was exceedingly unhelpful and was completely uninterested in finding a solution. I even asked if I could come before she left to pick up the other cats in Burnley and was told a flat-out no.Customer service is appalling. It is not solution-focussed. I do not rate it above one star.

Fabulous kennels and cattery, owners are so friendly and could not do enough to make sure my dogs and cats were happy and well fed and exercised, lovely setting, have used them many times, would not go anywhere else, ten stars

Just collected my 2 cats and once again cannot express my delight in high enough terms about how well they are looked after, they love coming on their holidays and all the staff are so friendly and caring, I also have a crazy Labrador who is just 10 months old and this was her first time away, she obviously loved her holiday, she is so happy and tried to go back to her new friends...thank you again for the love and care for my kids, see you in 2 months times with my kids again

rude staff. Not at all helpful when our plane was delayed. Had to arrange for someone else to collect our dogs as we would have been 30 mins later than closing time. Even offered to pay extra but they refused to allow us to collect late. The person who picked them up was verbally abused by a member of staff for popping her head around a door when no one answered. I won’t be using this place again and I certainly won’t be recommending it to any of my friends who have pets

Don’t think I’ll be leaving my dog here again she came back needing a bath I don’t have a clue what the kennel was like she was staying in and she’s had the runs since she’s been back would not recommend to anyone needing to leave there pets if going on holiday
