Room pretty clean but what a horrible night's sleep. Absolutely boiling in the room. Never mind leaving a note saying to come down for an ice pop to cool me down how about you purchase fans for the rooms which are really hot. It got unbearable at times. Leaving notes isn't the way. Premier inn is not a cheap hotel anymore so it I'm paying £100 for a room then please provide a fan at least...Wouldn't risk booking again.

The Premier Inn was convenient for what we wanted, greeted with a friendly smile from a member of the staff, room was clean but unfortunately could do with some TLC, very comfy bed, lovely fluffy white towels.Brewers fayre next door the Mulberry Tree, they seemed to be short of staff, the rump steak was perfect, cooked to how I like it, staff were friendly.

We were booked into this Premier Inn by our children as part of our 60th birthday surprise party celebrations. The room was spacious and clean. Our bed was really comfy and we had a great nights sleep. The extra special touch by staff of a card, bottle of wine, chocolates and balloons was such a lovely thing for them to do. What a great way to end a very special evening. Thank you :)

We stayed here for 2 nights as we had a family wedding nearby.The staff were really friendly and rooms were clean and met our needs.My only niggle was the lack of AC (which is clearly stated), so if it's hot the rooms can get a little stuffy.A decent fan was provided which was reasonably effective.The food at the adjacent Brewers Fayre was good.

Well I guess this is a long overdue review. We have stayed in many Premier Inns over the years but the Braintree (120) is our mainstay when we just need to escape for the occasional night away!The rooms are comfortable and clean but can some times could use a little bit of care and attention. Any problems we've had in the past have normally been rectified promptly by the reception staff. The beds need an extra mention though, as I find them incredibly comfortable!I've lost count of the amount of times we've stayed there and the staff have always been very friendly and helpful without exception and this I feel is it's main strength!The Brewers fayre next doors is good too. They do seem to run out of a lot of things these days so be prepared to have a second choice when ordering, especially desserts! But again the staff are friendly and helpful and you can still enjoy a nice evening meal there. Breakfast is also not bad for the price!All in all I would recommend this Premier Inn if you are in need of accommodation in the area for a wedding or event. Or in our case just as a brief escape from the pressures of life!

Needed something close to work, comfortable rooms, used 2 rooms the first had no opening windows and had the heating off. second room had opening windows, no need for heating and plenty of fresh air.Food on a meal deal was ok, some of it took a long, long time

Hi,I stayed at the Premier Inn in Braintree just off of the A120. I'm not someone who usually bothers to provide feedback however I wanted to make an exception to call out my thanks to your front of house staff member Gemma. She was fantastic from the moment we arrived. No issue was too small or too large. The hotel didn't have air con and she sourced a fan to keep our babies cool. The room didn't have a USB plug socket so she gave us her personal adapter to borrow.Gemma was attentive, friendly and an absolute pleasure to deal with.As I waited for my wife, I saw how she interacted with others and she helped a young boy and spoke with a smile with everyone she greeted.Hire more people like Gemma. She is credit to your business.CheersJoe

Premier Inn Braintree (A120) hotel
Stayed here for a wedding and it had everything we could need. We thought the breakfast was decent considering it was included in the price. The two staff who helped us check in early (I think it was Debbie and Charlie?) were really hospitable and a real credit to the team.
