Lee was extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. Very efficient and patient. Quick to respond to the humorous side of the sale. Made the whole experience very pleasurable. We are very happy with the chair. Prompt next day delivery. Posting on behalf of Rose Pinch.

Called in to Ableworld a few days ago for help and advice re a mobility scooter. Was made very welcome by Lee who introduced me to the range of scooters we were interested in (dismantleable).A demo was carried out and I was invited to have a ride on the one we showed interest in and finally decided to purchase. The scooter was delivered on the day and at the time chosen and I am totally satisfied with the whole experience.Thank you to all concerned.

Very helpful and friendly store, they ensured we purchased a mobility scooter which met our requirements, instead of forcing the most expensive scooter on sale, will definitely go back for anything else we need.

Staff are there if needed but leave you to look in peace and decide without breathing down your neck. Which I liked, hence why I purchased.

I purchased new mobility scooter batteries from Ableworld and after three months they began to fail. Ableworlds response was fantastic after checking the batteries and my scooter they replaced them. More importantly all the Ableworld staff i dealt with from head office the Darlington and Stockton on Tees store where absolutely brilliant. Many thanks to you all.

My husband went to see if he could get a new wheel for my wheelchair. Which got damaged. Saleswomen told him they didnt sell it, bought it there last year!! Called another salesman. He seemed totally disinterested. Not happy. I didnt go to shop my husband did. But you need staff who seem a bit interested.

So very disappointed.Came on recommendation of friends so was looking forward to easy access building, great service and spending PIP money on items I really needed.None of this happened.Door didn't open.... And.. The only help we had was from a nice chap... Who turned out to be a customer waiting while 2 staff members and a few customers stood and watched.... Great...I was really hoping to get a better cushion for my wheelchair, possible talk about barrier creams, kitchen and bathroom gadgets we needed... But... Nope. A, to be honest, bizarre attitude as if we were just filling he space up... We were asked... Ish... If we wanted anything... But no further interaction despite me saying we'd need some help.Unfortunately... The shop is not geared up for wheelchairs to get round. And to be honest... By that point... Meh. It didn't feel it worth the effort to try to talk to staff again.Im not willing to engage in personal conversations and trying things which will be painful... With people who frankly give the impression they can't be arsedAlso my husband who is much less sensitive than me thought the customer service was as poor as retail can get". We have both worked in retail and yeah
