Really lovely place to have in Eastbourne and especially in old town. Loved the food and the atmosphere, all of the staff were very kind and nice. Really good to have authentic Mexican dishes instead of just burritos!! There was a bit of a delay with our order but just a minor issue we think. Perhaps could have another member of waiting staff on on a Friday to help the team. Had a great meal and will be returning.

Every dish on the menu tasted like it was made with love and care. The authenticity of the flavors transported me straight to a cozy kitchen in Mexico. The enchiladas were perfectly seasoned, the guacamole was fresh and zesty, and the tacos were bursting with flavorful fillings. Each bite was a celebration of traditional Mexican cuisine, prepared with the expertise that comes from generations of family recipes. The owners Kal and Catlaina were the loveliest couple with great customer service, thank you. My husband and I will be back soon.

The 2 of us walked in early on a friday night and they still had a table available for us without booking but it did fill up a little later. We ordered and our food arrived pretty quickly. Between us we had the mushroom quesadilla and the 3 mixed meat tacos. They were absolutely delicious. Genuinely the best Mexican I have ever eaten! Simple menu and relatively simple food but so full of flavour. Just the right mix of ingredients perfectly cooked. Amazing. Heartily recommend. This may become a weekly visit.

The setting of this restaurant is great, really friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Great drinks (agua fresca lime was a favourite!) and the food is to die for. 10/10 nothing I would change!

Great meal at the shack" last Friday night. Loved the delicate prawn ceviche starter followed by a choice of 3 tacos : steak and peppers

I have eaten here several times now and the food is delicious, authentic and great value. Last night was SO busy and the service suffered a bit as a result meaning our mains were forgotten. It was sorted out quickly and we were more than compensated. Thank you! I can't wait to go again - the atmosphere is warm and friendly whether quiet or busy.

We had a really lovely meal at El Changarro on Thursday evening. The food was really delicious with lovely fresh ingredients and we both really enjoyed the salsa's and guacamole. Also it was very reasonably priced. We had a starter between us, a main course each, 3 beers and a glass of wine and was under £50 for the two of us. I loved the Mexican music playing and the staff were friendly and attentive, we will definitely be back. It's important to support these new small local restaurants so please go and see them and enjoy some authentic Mexican dishes.

Nice quaint Mexican restaurant in the heart of Old Town. The service was very quick and the food was very authentic. Would definitely recommend if you in the mood for a quick bite that doesn't break the bank.
