Wellis Leisure - Hot Tubs & Swim Spas Accrington

Recently I had the misfortune of purchasing a Hot Tub from Wellis, who promote their band as “Premium Hot Tubs and Swim Spas”. During the sales, Wellis couldn’t do enough by way of contacting me and wanting me to make a purchase, the Sales Person who dealt with me was an exceptional person and this review is not aimed at that Sales person.Eventually I agreed to purchase a Hot Tub, then having gone through the sight servey, agreeing a delivery and installation date for my Hot Tub, the level of contact and communication would best be described as none existent.On the day of instalation I took the day off work, only for no delivery and no communication on the day, except when I contacted Wellis, where I was informed that the van transporting my Hot Tub had broken down, however, I could still expect delivery and instalation later that afternoon. I waited and waited, no communication and no delivery of my Hot Tub.If I hadn’t have telephoned Wellis again, I think that I would still be waiting to this day, wondering when my hot tub would be delivered.After several weeks wait, eventually my Hot Tub was delivered and installed, all was going well until the Hot Tub had a major leak and drained of all its water.Again a date was set for Wellis to attend to look at the problem and hopefully rectify what the problem could be, again, no communication and no interest what so ever from Wellis to their customer. I have again took a day of work, no idea if and when Wellis could decide to turn up and fix my Hot Tub.Hindsight is a wonderful thing. If I had my time over again, I would NOT go anywhere near Wellis Hot Tub and Spars.From my own personal experience, their level of aftercare service and communication with their customers is the worst I have experienced by a country mile. Be warned.

We were lucky to be looked after by Grant, friendly, informative and professional, exactly what you need for a high end purchase.My wife and I both feel completely in control and and we know that any doubts or questions will be dealt with properly.Definitely an asset to the company.Thank you Grant and we look forward to the delivery and installation.

Please do not buy from this company if you don’t want to be disappointed!We bought a hot tub in the Black Friday sale from a lovely girl called Jess and they promised to deliver it before Christmas. Amazing they stuck to their word and delivered before Christmas but might as well have not bothered.The guys dropped the tub in the wrong place in the garden where it didn’t even fit but assured us that it was just to test it so we filled it up as instructed. They said they’d be back straight after Christmas to move it into the correct place. Obviously they wanted to get off for Christmas which is understandable.The next guy turned up apparently from Wellis and was meant to put the cover on and test it. He also had to get back to Birmingham that night so couldn’t get away quick enough. He quickly used an extension cable from the inside of the house to turn it on and didn’t even fix the cover.The premium package that we paid an extra £1500 for the chemicals and Bluetooth monitor never turned up and still hasn’t.We’ve called several times and have been reassured that someone will get back to us but they never have.We’ve had a hot tub that’s full of cold water since before Christmas and has never been used. They clearly don’t want to put it right after a number of attempts from both my girlfriend and I.This has to be up there with one of the worst purchases ever and the sad thing is the tub is great if only it was in the right place with some chemicals etc.We’re very disappointed and are trying to work out the best way to move a hot tub if anyone can advise. I have visited this showroom 3 times now and every time the showroom is closed. Although it says open on the door entrance and advertised as open on their website. that's the last time I will be visiting this showroom. Talk about wasting my time!!!!!! Never again!10.20am and CLOSED AGAIN
