Huskisson Memorial
William Huskisson was an important figure in British politics during the Victorian era. He was the member of Parliament for Liverpool for a time and held many other significant roles including Treasurer of the Navy and President of the Board of Trade.The memorial is a small round tower in St James' Garden, near the spring. Huskisson is widely regarded the first railway assenger casualty as he was fatally wounded after an incident with Stephenson's Rocket.
