Midland Heart

They are no help I have been living in their damp and mouldy property for 5+years they come and don't do the job properly. My kids have become seriously ill from the Damp and mouldy property in which they cover in paint thinking its just a passing thing and have to come again. Useless don't waste money or time moving into their property avoid at all cost. I would have moved but can't afford to go anywhere else

Lived in midland property for over 25 years! They use to be good but now its just terrible. When you call up the staff just put you on hold an have conversation with their colleagues which you can hear. Toilets leaking showers leakings still cant get resolved. The plumbers turn up with no tools just goes to show they dont want to do anyfin. Im a training plumber my self i told the plumber over a phone conversation the soil pipe has detached needs sorting out. Bare in mind the same problem i had 3 months ago which a plumber came out an apparently fixed!!!!!. So the plumber went back an reported the roofs leaking!!!! So we had roofers knocking on the door to inspect . Funny that it only leaks when u have a shower or have toilet on not when it rains!!!. 1 month without a toilet and a shower because i have had to isolate it myself. Shocking service!!!!! Theres got to be a way to complain to a higher office . Expect full rent but dont want to repair anything. Newspapers an local mp will be informed!!!!

Bought two properties from midland heart last year they had been vandalised by midland heart staff in-between viewing and exchange which wasn't a good start and was never rectified they told me to claim on my insurance which wasn't possible as I didn't own the properties when they were damaged.Communication has been appalling, they won't speak to me as a leaseholder as they believe my date of birth is wrong. Its not. To solve the issue I was told to attend the Birmingham office with my passport. I live in East Sussex so 340 mile round trip. I don't think so.It took me months and months to get a rent statement of what service charges I've paid. I was told becuase my date of birth was enetered incorrectly on my sysem i wont be receiving one by post or any other means on at least 6 separate phone calls. I advised that if you can't send me a rent statement then DD will be cancelled. They advised me I needed to pay regardless of whether I receive the statement or not which is not true, to be supplied a receipt or statement for payments made is legally required.Most of the staff at the call centre sound fresh out of school and have no knowledge on housing or customer service. I called to make a payment today for service charges to be told lines are down init call us back tomorrow init " I very much doubt I will get a call back tomorrow.Midland Fart are quite possibly the worse social landlord/leaseholder known to man."

I have no problem with Midland Heart direct however PH Jones are a problem. I am fed up with rearranging my days off from work or waiting in and they do not turn up. I rearranged my appointment to my day off directly with PH Jones on the 07-12-23 between 08:00 to 13:00, no one came I rang them after two only music playing, I called back after 14:30 to be told oh no one is coming today!!I had no call or message to give me this information.This is not the first problem I have encountered with this company I wish you would change them. I have wasted a who day at the busiest time of the year .I will rearrange when it suits me now.

This housing association only advertises on their website retirement homes for people over 55 - Sheltered Retirement Living Scheme - 1 Bedroom Flat – Flat 09, Alexander Court.They don't advertise properties for families, people who have children, 2/3 bedroom houses etc. It's terrible they use to advertise properties for everyone and not be so ageist and discriminatory.

I live in birmingham and these housing association is not interested in my building they are running it down with cheap flooring and now they decide to take CTV cameras out people have been asulted in building. The cleaning is complete joke. These companie is not interested in the tenants only in making money.

Tenant for over 30 years. Over recent years they have become increasingly difficult to contact or communicate with. I don't want a dismissive conversation with customer" services. I'm now expected to download an "app" to report repairs. Why cant this be done online? Another stupid idea. Your unwelcome app will not work on my phone so I'm forced to waste my money phoning you to report a simple repair which from experience you will struggle to complete without repeated calls wasting more of my time and money. Midland Heart are supposed to be a housing association but it is managed as a business where "customers" can shop elsewhere and tenants are considered secondary to staff who clearly want no involvement with tenants and consider them an inconvenience. Your "Customer Voice" is a farce that achieves nothing other than employment for someone at MH."

personally i would not choose MH as a landlord based on my first few months of my tenancy.....absolute nightmare.....hopefully not everyone has experienced the same.....im quite shocked that such a big social landlord treats its tenants in this way.....unfortunately many tenants are experiencing the same issues.very very disappointed & im actually seeking to move ASAP

After living in my residence for over 10 years and having a good relationship with midland heart I have decided to move away from the company because of a certain individual who is associated with them. I was led to believe Midland Heart was a diverse and charitable organisation which welcomes all walks of life but their directors prove otherwise. I.A has directly mislead people online and has spread false news regarding the Palestinian/Israeli conflict. He has been engaging with the public on social media and has shown his full support to the Israeli government. He refuses to acknowledge any civilian deaths and has supported the terr*rist attacks on Christian hospitals and other public buildings in Gaza which have resulted in hundreds of of people dying. He also claims on his social media that the peaceful protest which are held in Birmingham are “supporting terr*rists” and he feels “utterly ashamed” that people are advocating for peace. As a director he has a duty to be a positive figure at midland heart and to portray a neutral image. I believe someone who has such an important role must be held accountable in what they spread online. I have read his tweets and I am appalled by the lacking of compassion and the complete disregard he has of innocent human life. Regardless if it’s Palestinian or Israeli.

Re: Birmingham branchUseless, incompetent, discriminative, liars.They only care about the money.Flats are vile and disgusting, (just like the staff). Even homeless people would turn these properties down.I have honestly wasted so much time on these clowns, that I can't even be bothered to leave a detailed review.I've shed so many tears because of these heartless fiends.Avoid like the plague.
