Went for a late lunch and ordered chicken tenders, buffalo wrap and a burger. Overall the food was good, came out quickly etc. I asked for a second sauce with the tenders which never materialised unfortunately. Would have been five star, but I think it is expensive for what you get.

Called in on a whim after visiting Blackpool Zoo. Food was fantastic. Definitely recommend the children's chicken wrap and the chicken rigatoni. Downside was that our desserts were forgotten about and we needed to remind what looked like the manager about it almost 40 minutes later. Not much of an apology about forgetting us... we had ordered the frozen hot chocolate which described on the menu is ice cream with chocolate shavings but infact came with brownie pieces containing nuts so they need to change the menu incase anyone has a nut allergy as this is unclear! Wouldn't want anyone to get hurt!If service did improve we may return.

Very noisy, huge TVs on all thru the place with extra surround sound, took my daughter for a bite to eat. Didn't have anything she drinks ie J2O. Ordered 4 chicken tenders, £9 she couldn't eat as they were over fried. Cost £32 for a bite to eat in a very noisy atmosphere. It used to be a nice pub atmosphere not anymore. But the hotel is fab.

Good food but a little over priced for bar food. Service was great and a lovely view over the golf course. Would definitely go back for drinks and sit outside in the summer.

Stayed here last Sat night with my Partner and son. Was dissapointed. Staff were great, but the room was tatty ( faux leather chair in room peeling, plaster coming away in places, bulb out in bathroom, then there was Breakfast. Plates were filthy, went through the pile looking for a clean one until I had to ask a member of staff to get me one. Waited about 5 mins for it. Food was Okay. Restaurant is Expensive. £26 for a sirloin steak £33 for a filet. I was expecting to see Gordon himself through the kitchen door. Stayed here about 6 years ago and loved it but was a different experience this time and would probably avoid next time. £159 for one night with Breakfast was not worth it. Also heard another guest complaining about the standard of her room and the staff moved her to another. It's a shame really.

Mains were really nice had the gourmet burger was very tasty, my wife had the chicken pene which looked really nice she just wish they hadnt have put peas in because they did nothing for the dish, my daughter had the kids wrap which would have been enough for an adult she really enjoyed it, desert is where it went downhill they forgot to bring it out for about 40 mins until I went and asked them about it my wifes triple chocolate cheesecake was delicious but the frozen hot chocolate was not what was on the menu it said it was chocolate and vanilla ice cream with cream marshmallows and chocolate sauce there was no chocolate ice cream instead it was chocolate brownie pieces that had nuts in I dont like nuts so was extremely disappointed with this, this needs to be clearly stated on the menu its dangerous to serve dishes with nuts with no warning

£18.50 for a burger with a sprinkle of blue cheese and half a rasher of bacon and when I asked for more was told that was the correct portion size and I'd have to pay extra, despite someone else having the same meal and having more bacon and cheese on their's. Shocking attitude!
