Very enjoyable visit to the feeding station. They feed the kites at 3 pm, at 10 to 3 kites begin appearing from everywhere, settling in the trees. We thought it was funny how they knew the time. When the food was thrown out, kites were diving in from everywhere. The centre is well signed until you get to the parking area. Could do with the sign being in a different place.

Well worth the £6.00. The birds were amazing. You go onto the hides and watch them being fed. You can spend upto 2 hours here.

Wow! There must've been about 50-60 birds when feeding started. Not just red kites, but buzzards and crows too.You definitely want to arrive early. We visited outside of the school holidays and the car park only had a couple of spaces left with 30 minutes to go before feeding time. Once the car park is full, that's it.

One of the best birding experiences ever so many kites swooping in for food. So many photo opportunities this place is incredible. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful We cannot wait to return.

Visited before but many years ago.Great hide built with undercover seating area or areas better suited to photographers (covered and not). The Red Kites certainly disappoint and the Buzzards eventually made an appearance too. Brilliant time here and great hosts - listen to their advice for the best opportunities to see the Kites and Buzzards ;)

Quite wonderful! These magnificent birds, surviving only in single figures as recently as 50 years ago, descend in their hundreds, putting on a show of aerial supremacy and physical agility which is almost beyond description. Plus - if you're lucky - you'll see one of the very few white" Kites in the UK. The whole experience is very well organised and explained. Highly recommended."

Was not sure what to expect as it was not that easy to find up to date information. But I can assure you it is open and a definite must-see experience. I have never seen so many Red Kites in one place. If you are up Brecon way, don't miss it and for the price a bargain.

Great day out, very friendly knowledgeable staff. My wife needs a wheelchair and straight away was offered to bring car to right outside for ease of exit etc. Cash only when you arrive and remember it's a remote location so make sure to go to the loo before you get there. Amazing experience seeing the kites so close and wild.

Amazing experience and well organized. First visit will will be back soon. Turn up early as space is limited300mm can be a little short if the food is placed at the back of the field and 200mm may be too long if the food is closer. They are very fast so keep shooting :)
