Pope Funeral Services

It's nearly six years since Pope's helped me with my Mother's ashes which were added to her family grave at Whitegate. They are simply the kindest and most genuine real people, compassionate and understanding. Their attention to detail is second to none. And now, all these years down the line Kim Young is still helping me out with delivering flowers to her grave, which I am not able to do myself as I live on the South Coast in West Sussex. Thank you all at Pope's from me and my family, it means a lot.

The last two years have been very difficult for everyone. Sadly, I lost my mother in December 2021. Due to Covid and travel restrictions, I had to organise her funeral from Australia. I couldn’t have wished for a better funeral provider than Popes Funeral Services in Winsford. Mike, who I worked with, navigated me through this very emotional time from beginning to end. He made several excellent suggestions and nothing was a problem. Being overseas, Mike helped me with live video links that enabled my family and other family members living abroad, tune in on the day to be a part of Mum’s final journey. Watching the services from afar, it was clear that Mum was treated with the utmost respect whilst she was in their care. The Popes team are true professionals. They are kind, caring, compassionate individuals and I can’t thank them or recommend them highly enough for what they did for my family and me.

Pope's were very kind, helpful and professional. We had to organise a funeral at the start of lock down. It was a difficult time but they were so helpful. We never felt rushed and they even enabled us to see Dad on Easter Day!

Damian at Pope's was an amazing support through arranging my Dad's funeral, efficient and professional, but so friendly and understanding too, a really genuine person. He gave suggestions and advice and answered my questions and concerns very quickly, nothing was too much trouble. He actually made a very difficult time much easier to navigate. Pope's are very professional and the team present at my Dad's service were excellent.

Couldn’t have wished for a better service. When we came to them for my grandads funeral they were more happy to help. Creating a nice pamphlet which showed his achievements, memories, children and more. The funeral service was smooth and great and couldn’t recommend more!

Following the death of my husband, the team at Pope were excellent, often going above and beyond to help us. They paid attention to what was important and were genuine in their compassion. They offered advice and care, and helped us to make the service very personal. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and am very grateful for everything that they did for us as a family. My beloved mum passed on 3 March and we engaged Popes as Funeral Directors. I can honestly say they have managed the whole process incredibly right up until the funeral 24 Mar. They did it with such care, attention and thoughtfulness. It took the anxiety away for my father and me.The order of service was beautifully presented and the funeral was absolutely perfect.
