This company failed to register the new boiler they installed in my house for a GasSafe Compliance Certificate. The work was carried out in 2014 and we only realised this when trying to sell in 2018! This is a mandatory requirement to register newly installed boilers as per Building Regulations.

Fitted a boiler and filter fitted the filter to close to the boiler cannot take out to clean. As for the engineer who passed it not very professional.

Excellent service from Rob at F&F today, did four small plumbing jobs for me extremely well. He turned up exactly on time, was polite and careful and offered very useful advice on my house renovation project. I will definitely be using F&F again for my plumbing needs. Very nice to find such good tradespeople to help out on more tricky tasks.

I did put a review on here about a week ago cause I wasn't happy with not getting the call back in a few minutes as was said. I have taken it off as I realise I was reacting badly to friend passing away couple days before and some annoying calls I had with my electric supplier over many days .. I should of been more patient with Flood and French than I was and for that I apologise to them. Writing the review I put on wasn't meant to be against them personally as a company it was just me pointing out that they hadn't got back to me. At time I phoned them I had my supplier in my house for wat I thought was a easy change of meter then I get some credi on my card and I has gas on again. but just as the guy from my leccy supplier finished he informed me that the meter will be capped til I get a gas safe engineer to check my boiler before I could use gas as my boiler hadn't been switched on since 2013. altho I was frustrated with that it is their right to do that as its the law. But my frustration got better of me.. I have apologised to the guy I spoke to that day wen I phoned them to sort out an engineer.. My frustration rather than patience got better of me.so Flood and French wasn't really at fault.. So I have revised my review.. They did call me next day after I expected a call,, arrangements were made for yesterday,, they turned up on time,, engineer was very good, informative and showed great care making sure my boiler was running safely.. Bit worried at first as boiler wouldn't fire up,, but the engineer soon sorted the problem out,, pump needed a nudge to switch on,, but once on it ran good as new.. it's nice to have heat again in my home after 7 winters without any heat in my home other than one electric fire to heat one room which was more expensive to keep than my exwife being honest.. So I'm grateful to Flood and French for getting me up and running.. I did get acknowledgement from the guy on phone that he should of rang me back as promised, he apologised,, I accept that, I apologised for reacting the way I did,, I accept I let my grief for my friend few days earlier and problem with my leccy supplier got better of me too... I would never leave a bad review in normal circumstances.. it's all sorted now so once again thankyou Flood and French for getting me heat in my home again, cheers.

Been without heating & hot water for a week with it freezing outside and 2 children in the house. They came and told us it was a circuit board and they would have to order it but should be in next day and then kept postponing date to come back and fix..so still no hot water/heating..would not recommend, they just fob you off. Was told on Weds someone would definitely be out Friday..Friday arrives and they tell me can't come till Monday

Homeserve left me with no heating or hot water for a week and then decided my boiler was Beyond economical repair. 3 days later still waiting for them to call me to discuss fitting new boiler!Thankfully I gave F&F a call 5 mins after Homeserve had left. F&F came round immediately and provided us with a quote. 3 working days later I have a new boiler. Fantastic service, thank you.I chose to go with them as I had used them previously and found them professional, efficient and reasonably priced.

Recently used Flood and French for a small interior building job to convert a bedroom into two rooms. This included adding a new window, stud wall and electrics. The team were amazing, quick, efficient and friendly. I was very impressed. They took all the rubbish and cleaned up afterwards. Couldn't have asked for a better service. Thanks to all involved.

Flood and French were brought in to fix a water pump which broke within one week. Second pump fitted broke within 3 weeks. Learned now that they wired pumps into electrics direct and pumps ran 24/7 so burned out and they destroyed wiring in boiler fitting pumps. Now I need a new boiler (£1700). Fobbed off with useless excuses. AVOID

We have used this company a couple of times and they have always been superb. Today Simon came and got our old tired heating system going again. With three young kids in a 400 year old house when it's below freezing outside we were getting worried. Flood & French where responsive, helpful and punctual. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company and definitely know where to go when we replace this system in the new year. Excellent company, super staff. Thank you

We had our bathroom completly refurbished. At the end of each day the place was spotless and left exceptionally tidy. The entire job was done in 8 days and the workmanship was superb. The work was carried out by Marcin Orlicki (Martin). Great work. Very polite. Highly recommended.Thanks again to Flood and French for another superb job.
