Great place for family and friends to enjoy together. House is lovely, very spacious and plenty to do for adults and kids! Service is brilliant too.

Great place to stay

Craig Alvah Lodge is a beautiful, luxurious lodge with massive amounts of space. The bedrooms are all good sizes and have ensuites. Huge open kitchen/dinning/lounge. There is a heated indoor pool that is great to laze around in. We were here with two young children and our parents. Lots to do with he kids, trampoline, football and a large play set. The lodge is a bit of nightmare to find, but if you follow the instructions given rather than the satnav you will be fine. My only complaint would be the lighting system for the house. I saw other people complaining about this and thought shouldn't be difficult for a tech minded guy like myself" ... There are control panels scattered around the lodge that control completely different parts of the house

Had the good fortune of staying in Craig Cottage with Elaine last week in April 2021. I genuinely could not praise this accommodation highly enough. It was immaculate on arrival, superbly equipped, spacious, warm, quality beds and beautifully furnished. The grounds are extensive and magical with an incredible variety of wild life. The river is a short walk through the gates at the bottom of the garden and offers the best trout fishing I have experienced anywhere in Scotland. The owners are helpful with advice and information but totally discreet. Jim the Ghillie also helped with advice when approached and is a font of knowledge and a lovely man. We would jump at the opportunity to return to this magical and tranquil haven. Many thanks! John and Elaine

Amazing space for family and friends to share and make memories. Facilities are good, close enough to the shops if you need anything but still far enough away to feel secluded.
