OK so here's our disappointing experience on our visit yesterday. Firstly, we had a reservation so expected to welcomed instead we were treated as if we should go elsewhere. As we approached the hosting station we saw the manager (Tallish,bald slim guy in a green t shirt) roll his eyes and tell the waiter to tell us there's an hours wait for food. The waiter, politely relayed this to us and we agreed that's fine we are prepared to wait. A waitress then proceeded to seat us at a table. She told us there's around a 30 minute wait for food, the same manager then approached her and said tell them it's an hour. Either way this was fine we were prepared for the wait. We ordered at the bar the food arrived 30 minutes later.The fact there was a wait for food isn't the issue (which wasn't particularly great) it's the way we were treated as an inconvenience and made to feel unwelcome. It seems the manager was doing his best to put us off dining there. The place wasn't even that busy. Please make your customers feel welcome regardless of what pressures you are under or simply polietly say you are no longer serving food due to a backlog. Anything is better than being rude. The waiters and waitress were fine and very polite. Perhaps the manager was having a bad day, but it is such a bad image for your company, very off-putting and really bad customer service.

Food is what you would expect from a Brewers Fayre. Reasonable price, takes nice, staff are welcoming. Good place to go for a cheap lunch or dinner with friends

Where else can you go to get unlimited breakfast, coffee, juices with ample choices for a tenner? Easily pay more than that for a set breakfast in a decent cafe. Rachael is lovely and very tentative!

It wasn't busy so got served quickly. Food was hot and chicken succulent. Like the fact that they have unlimited coke and coffee machines. Would go again.

Last time we arrived here we had a booking that the management ended up messing that up so we had to go somewhere else to eat a year ago. Finally, this time they didn't get it wrong and we were able to go to our family reunion meal out for 10 people.The service was fast for us considering how many people on our table. Food tasted great, I had the Classic Cheeseburger and an Appletiser drink.Polite and funny stuff and they knew what they are doing.The chairs feel comfortable enough too, to sit on for a good few hours. Clean tables. Spacious place with plenty of tables.3 hours free customer parking, just need type your REG in on their screen once you get into the restaurant entrance.

This is an edit to a previous review I had made where I was really disappointed in the service. But after today, Brewers Fayre staff have shown that they care and do listen to their customers. Thank you for the great service today, it was very much appreciated by myself and everyone in my group. Food was lovely, staff were very friendly and helpful. I hope that you continue to provide the excellent service that we had today. You deserve the edit ✍️5 star service today, thank you to all of you at Brewers Fayre Dagenham :)

Had a quick lunch, chose the place only because there was nothing else open at 1pm in the area, unless you consider McDonald’s as an option (which I do not). Service was…well, there wasn’t much of it really. One lady trying to cover 12 lunch tables, an impossible task. Food?.. the best tasting item on my plate was ketchup and mayonnaise. It’s an ok place to eat if you are desperate, but if you have time on hands, I would recommend to go somewhere else.

Great service. Bubbly, lively and every member of staff was helpful.Downside. I paid an extra 3.5 for an 8 oz steak. What I got was a piece of steak the size of a thin chicken nugget. When pointed out, I received another piece of gristle. The chips were a joke. It was a shame as the rest was a nice evening. New chef required.

For breakfast this wasn’t a bad shout. It got busier as the morning went on. Kids under 16 eat free and unlimited breakfast was ok. At times you had to wait a few minutes before the food came out as demand was higher than supply but at least it was hot. Latte was good. felt clean and would go back for breakfast!

It was a pleasant experience and we really enjoyed the food.The waitress was very attentive and jolly and interacted well with all our needs.I would definitely recommend this restaurant despite reading some negative reviews.Well done to the staff and chef on such a rainy day! Certainly made all three of us smile...
