A fantastic charity helping children from under-resourced areas of London to discover the magic and joy of reading.

These people are really good, they come to my Sisters flat in Lambeth and read to her 1 year old and he loves it.Excellent idea and I will spread the word. Lovely Charity.

Great organisation supporting children and their families to access new, exciting books on a weekly basis. A pair of volunteers read with the children weekly, either online or in person, and share their love of books with them. The volunteers are professional and friendly, and choose the books based on children's interest, age and reading ability. It's a unique home based reading service engaging the whole family.

Volunteering with Doorstep Library is such an enjoyable experience and makes me feel part of something making a real change - reading with the families is the highlight of my week! Doorstep Library’s approach to nurture reading for fun is so crucial to building young people’s confidence and exploring their identity - a freedom that every child and family should be able to enjoy!

An amazing charity that goes above and beyond to help children in London to access books. The charity has amazing volunteers who do such a good job of interacting with the kids. It’s a great way for children to develop their reading skills too, while having fun! Couldn’t recommend Doorstep library more.
