It has a lovely atmosphere, the drinks are not expensive and the customers/staff mingle and chat. If that isn't your thing, the room around the corner in the pool room is quieter and provides a place to drink in peace.

Friendly staff.....BUT,Toilets are always dirty, floor is always covered in urine, toilet doesn't flush and no hand dryer. It has been like this for years!

So much unrealised potential. It's up for sale so hopefully new owners will do the lovely building justice. Loads of maintenance and cleaning issues. Friendly staff. Pool table good beer

Best pub in Guisborough. Forget the flaws, the people who frequent here are the salt of the earth. Drank here for years before having to move away & made some fantastic friends. If you like a pub where people don't care who you are or what you do for a living & call a spade a spade, you'll love it! Its the Guisborough version of Cheers!! Never an uneventful night to be had & every night is a new experience with great people.
