Chris rebuilt my gearbox on my Mercedes for me and did an excellent job, talking me through the whole process, showing the broken parts etc, he even helped me work out an issue with the gear selector later despite it being unrelated to the original rebuild (and me pulling hair out to diagnose). Highly recommended to any 722.6 gearbox owners like me!

I called in on the off-chance that I could get some advice . I'm guessing that the gentleman who spoke to me was the proprietor . He gave me honest advice and topped up the gearbox oil for a very reasonable price . Although I didn't really do business with them I got the impression that they would be the place to go to for gearbox solutions . Very impressed ! Thank you .

Honestly could not recommend this business enough. We had one car breakdown around 6 months ago due to the gearbox bearings breaking, we attempted to go through warranty and they walked us through every step, fully explained everything and made us aware of all costs. When that didn’t go to plan we had the work carried out by Tunnis anyway, the car was perfect when we received it back and they even fixed our brake light - we noticed this when we got home as they didn’t charge or mention it which we thought was really kind of them. 6 months later, the mechtronic on our automatic golf broke late in the evening, we didn’t have to think twice on where we were taking it when the AA recovered us. We dropped it off to Tunnis on Monday night and had the car back and fixed by Thursday. The staff are all so easy to talk to and so polite and friendly. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. No extortionate prices or overwhelming technical talk.

I took a merc s600 v12 with a gearbox fault to this company. They requested the car late in the afternoon, it was trailered there. By 2.30 the next day repairs where complete. The car is now perfect. They showed me the faulty part they replaced. Very nice informative and knowledgeable gentleman. I would use and recommend them to anyone. Thank you.

amazing service from first call helped every step of the way. gave my audi a1 to a local mechanic who messed up and Chris at tunnis autos sorted evrything out regarding my mechatronics. I now know where to go for any of my issues.. learn from my mistake and stay away from the local cowboys and go direct to the specialist. I would rate them 10 star if I could.

So pleased with the service I received. I needed a new clutch and I had my car picked up and fixed within the day, to say I’m pleased is an understatement. Friendly and polite and definitely hard working to have done it so quickly. Well and reasonably priced would recommend to anyone. Will definitely be going back for any future work.

I called the garage in the morning explaining my issues that they got me in to look at my car the dame day. The best thing! No oily finger prints in the car or on the seat.
