B&Q Falkirk

Terrible customer service ( bathroom department). I had a new bathroom fitted 2009 and had 3 new re-fits since and countless visits to fix problems. Till this day i still have problems, bath not fitted correctly and sealant coming off...constantly ignored with previous surveyor (phone and text) then made contact with homefit department and they sent a woman out to have a look who told me to leave it with her and she would get someone out...once again ignored my calls and texts for months to be told by homefit office WHO I HAD TO CONTACT AGAIN that she was paid off at Xmas along with the homefit teams ( contractors) and basically they would NOT be sending anyone out as it was out of warranty.....yes it was out of warranty...i tried for a year to get someone to listen to me after the last re- fit......WOULD DEFINATELY NOT RECOMMEND B&Q FOR BATHROOMS OR KITCHENS. Buy your screws or nails etc but go to a decent company for installations. We nearly had a fire due to water running into our circuit box in cupboard through wall from bathroom, tiles with no adhesive under them , wrong things delivered, poor quality products and hubby having to check wash hand basin was level as it was a floating basin ( contractor asked hubby to check) he's not a flipping plumber.... even though he did help them out and that's only the small things that happened. To be fair photos show the last re-fit 2 days after fit and it looks nice unfortunately no photos taken of the problems as yet

Great variety, staff brilliant but quite expensive.

Very expensive. Rewards card not great held up the one cash register open while the customer & cashier tried to sort the endless E - mails for a discount voucher which ended up not working & customer was told couldn't be sorted as the line of customers was building up.

Nice big store for all diy needs nice friendly staff.

Won't be back again. Manager who was on shift today was extremely arrogant. I was using the self scanner buying wallpaper stripper & a scraper. An old lady approached me and asked for ID, clearly the staff here are on a power trip. Asked to speak to the manager who was useless. I'm 31years old, I said I would go elsewhere & his reply was you'll just get ID'd somewhere else". Well actually

We had an absolute nightmare trying to return paint that was clearly mixed incorrectly. I have no idea how B&Q are getting away with it.The customer service over the phone is excellent, however in store (Stirling and Falkirk) is atrocious.If you're considering buying paint, I would go elsewhere if you're looking to receive an honest service without being given the run-around.Lesson learned, never again.

Had problems at self scan felt staff not very helpful was trying to pay with my phone on contract less but would let me was told need a card had to lave shopping go car to get my card start again still didn't work

I rented a carpet cleaner and complied with the written instructions regarding ensuring the tank and brush were clean upon return. However, the staff insisted the entire underside of the machine should have been cleaned, although this is specified nowhere, and then expected me to clean it there in the shop! Truly appalling customer service, added to by the fact they thought it appropriate to raise their voices as I left. B&Q, at other locations, usually have staff that try their best, avoid this one.

Plenty parking. Easy access.Excellent service! Very helpful trying to find the exact part I needed for my bathroom.Beautiful Christmas decor available too.
