I needed a new kitchen as the old one was outdated. I spoke to Zen kitchens and they gave me the best price and a very quick timescale for fitting my new kitchen.Out of their many options, I went for a handleless light grey gloss cabinet design. Their product is of really high quality and their kitchen fitter was polite, professional and a very clean worker. Any unexpected problems were dealt with very quickly and I had no headache.My kitchen looks beautiful now Alhamdulillah.I would go to them again if I ever needed a new kitchen in the futue Insha Allah.

We used Zen Kitchens for a total refit in February 2021 and I must say it was a pleasant experience throughout. The owner came down to the house and measured up and suggested a design which was then followed up with detailed drawings. We visited the workshop and were very impressed with the variety of options available.Zen Kitchens were able to source exactly what we requested and the quality of the Kitchen is impeccable. The fitters were punctual and competent and have a keen eye for detail. COVID procedures were followed and they maintained social distancing throughout the process.The finished product looks great and the price we were given was one of the most competitive within Birmingham.Highly recommend and will definitely be using again amongst family and friends.

Purchased a kitchen from Zen kitchens and bedrooms and it’s the best affordable money we’ve spent. Awesome service and excellent quality materials along side price. Will recommend anyone who’s buying a kitchen that suits their budget try these guys. You won’t be disappointed. Don’t get fooled by flashy showrooms and sales talk which people fall in to. 5***** service

I approached Zen Kitchens from a recommendation and was very glad I did. Ejaz was very professional in visiting the property, he created full kitchen plans to the way I wanted the kitchen units laid out. In fact through Zen Kitchens design i was able to get more units with their cleaver storage methods.I had several choices and prices from BnQ, Howdens and Magnet, by far ZenKitchens was the cheapest, but dont be fooled, the quality is MUCH better as they use proper door painted gloss and unlike the cheaper methods BnQ & Howdens use where its vinyl and they will peel with heat and moisture.Ejaz went above and beyond for me to get a deeper breakfast bar 650mm and i can be a difficult customer but his team were great.Great experience, pricing, professional, fitted me around COVID in the safest way as it was an empty property, also the fitters were great in giving recomendations and actually did some extra work for me with my sink piping free of charge and fitted my hob into the workplace.overall very happy, great pricing, very good quality units, proper carcases much better than BnQ, Howdens and magnet.I have already got 2 other people in touch with Zen Kitchens.Thank you for everything.

I purchased a kitchen on the hoof from Zen Kitchens, and Mr Ijaz (Proprietor) provided good quality kitchen, help and advice. He is straight talking sales man, and had been very patient and accommodating with me. His fitters, were also reliable and finished job on time. His admin such as taking payment, receipt etc was also good. Only thing I would advise is that accessories such as cooker hood( Extractor fan) , gas and electrics are not included in the price and you need to make allowance for these when budgeting . As a word of advice just take a photo of worktop, taps, Draw handles, sink etc so you don't forget what you ordered as there is a range from which you can choose.

Where do I start with this review.. The number of issues has been endless.We chose the kitchen we wanted, letting Ejaz know we wanted a cooker hood, integrated fridge and 5 hob cooker, specifically stating we wanted a 5 job with the 5th hob in the middle. We asked a couple of times to see the appliances we were going to be supplied with or to come down to his unit to see what was available to choose from as we were willing to pay more to get a better one. We were told to go to a shop close to the unit and pick out what we wanted. My parents went, Ejaz the person who we were purchasing the kitchen from was not there to see what was chosen.When installation time came, a 5 hob cooker with the 5th hob on the end delivered. I called Ejaz to inform him this was the wrong cooker, instead of being understanding he became argumentative telling me it was what was chosen (he wasn’t even there how would he know). My mum sent me a picture of the cooker she chose after she had been and it wasn’t the one that was delivered, apparently it was my responsibility to pass that on to Ejaz, not his responsibility to check what we actually wanted. Eventually after much back and forth, the correct one was delivered and installed.Then, the kitchen cupboards were installed with the two corner ones installed with massive gaps between the two doors, again called Ejaz only to be told that apparently this is how it’s meant to be. Now you don’t have to be a professional to know there shouldn’t be a gap between the doors and definitely not one that big. To get this sorted took lots of time arguing on the phone, he could not just admit that it had been fitted incorrectly and needed to be sorted, he kept telling me it was right. What do you know, in the end it was fixed - so clearly it wasn’t meant to be installed like that.Then he tried to tell my parents that they would need to pay an extra £100 for the gas man.Not long after installation the cover for the dishwasher fell off - he robbed my parents off for a bit, after I contacted him sent someone to come and fix it.A couple of months after installation my parents noticed the fridge was not keeping food cold and was spoiling any milk put in it, they informed him, his response - they need the paperwork for the fridge to claim on the warranty, well he never left them with any paperwork. Less than a year later, I am trying to get the fridge sorted, it is not acceptable for the fridge to be faulty that soon after installation. When I told him he provided no paperwork, he tells me it was left in the kitchen - why wouldn’t he hand it to someone? The truth is no paperwork was provided because he had supplied and installed a product that is classed as seconds from the shop he gets his appliances from, did we ask for a second hand product - no!All in all yes the kitchen was cheaper than other places but the hassle and the problems we have had I would never recommend or use them again. The way he tries to lie and convince you his mistakes are meant to be like that or that it’s your fault if something has gone wrong is unacceptable. I would avoid at all costs.Response to Ejaz's response:No paperwork was ever provided for ANY appliances. He states there was nothing they refused to put right, this is laughable as I had to argue with him over everything to sort the issue, his first response it to try to make you believe 'it's meant to be like that', 'that's how it's supposed to be', 'that's what you asked for'. To get the gaps in the cupboards fixed took several texts and phone calls one lasting almost an hour.Yes he did my kitchen, this wasn't without issues either - one kitchen cupboard had a circle cut out on the inside in the middle of the cupboard, this was patched up with glue - very obvious & noticeable. When my husband called, he tried to tell him it's normal!! The cheek to try and tell us the patched up circle was part of the cupboard and expect us to believe him!And yes he's done kitchens for other family members - two have been waiting a while for things to be finished off.

I purchased a kitchen from ZEN, at such a affordable price after shopping around local being charged ripped of prices for the same kitchen. Only because they have a computer and a few lights shining on the showroom kitchens people are being taken for mugs! We visit ZEN kitchens chose the kitchen colour etc had it measured job done! The guy is so helpful everything you need is there, just choose away you go!
