Worst Cake box in the UK. I always buy cakes from Cake Box in Birmingham. This branch never has a fresh cake. Super dry and awful.It’s a pre-ordered cake and I did specify I wanted a fresh cake but I received a very dry cake probably made a few days before. Never buy again from the Leamington branch.

On Saturday 24th October I had ordered a R2 for £19.99 I did say I wanted the Cake Fresh and not a displayed one, she said to order online in which I did. I phoned up when I ordered to mentioned again I wanted a Fresh Cake R2 for £19.99 they said that would be ok. The Cake was not at all tasty It smelt off and the colour was yellow and it was not fresh. We could tell a it was not Fresh yet again. Also the base of the cake was written on there 22 which means 22nd October, they sold me a cake which was out of date, We had spoken to a lady on the phone 3 or 4 times that morning saying we wanted the cake FRESH.We have had problems before with Eggless CakeBox Leamington Spa, and they have most of the time sold us Displayed cakes and at times the writing on there was not tidy, within a few days of purchasing the cake had gone off, they have put Old Cream on the cream was yellow, and smelt bad. I have had to got back previously and this issue has was never sorted out properly only once when the writing was not neatly written then I had to go back to the shop.I suggest that you go elsewhere.

Worst shop. Bought a cake and was very excited as it was our son's 16th birthday but the cake was stale. Went back to the shop and told them everything. But the older lady behaved so badly, so rude said such derogatory things. Said people eat half of the cake and returns bringing rest of it. Tried to explain that bought pastries too and they were perfect. Why would I only complain about the cake but they kept asking stupid questions like: did you keep the cake in fridge?. Also said that we thought that you didn't eat the cake at all. Never expected such rude behaviour. Left the cake for them to enjoy.Edit: later told to my husband about the incident and went again to the shop but unfortunately it was same treatment. The same lady insulted us. Spoke to Kiran( I guess owner), tried explaining everything again. Atleast she was polite but wasn't ready to accept their mistake whatsoever. They were closing down the shop so I noticed that they remaining cakes were being taken inside the shop. I know they resell the cakes but Kiran told me that they donate the cakes which I don't believe at all. Because few of friends used to work there and they told me that they refresh the cakes and resell them. Exhausted from the arguments came back as they were not ready to refund or replace our cake with a fresher one.Going to escalate this further. Will never recommend this shop. Worst cake shop ever.

This place is absolutely fantastic, the staff are all so friendly and the cakes are incredible! This is our new favourite local place to get cake!

Went to get birthday cake and served by Asian women. She increased the cake price after selected the cake by us. All cakes have their prices on them but she still increased the price and said these prices are old. I haven’t said anything and wanted to order Khoa barfi ( punjabi sweet ). Requested to have a sample of barfi to taste before ordering and she refused completely. She said I’ll have to buy if I wanted to taste. I was surprised like why I should pay for the stuff that I’m not sure about it that it would be tasty or not. Completely untrained staff.

Ordered the chocolate cheesecake. At £15.99 I was expecting something pretty good. It was really underwhelming...cheese part was a strange texture, almost rubbery and it had zero flavour, not choc just sugar. The GU cheesecakes in the supermarkets or even dare I say just normal cheesecake in the supermarket are 1/4 of the price and so much nicer.

Never heard of them until my lovely friend brought an amazing, utterly beautiful fresh cream cake to my birthday bash. Never had it so good! And it kept well for 3 days. All gone now! Just lovely, would recommend this company to everyone. Tastes as good as it looks.
