I returned a pair of Meindl Respond GT walking shoes for the second time in less than a year.RACHEL assisted me in the process and she knew exactly what was wrong with the shoes before she even looked at them - the shoes were too narrow and were not prone to a design fault as I had thought.RACHEL advised me that she did not have any shoes in stock that she could replace them with and issued a full refund.Rachel also advised me on suppliers of a wider fitting walking shoes and where to get them.First class service of the highest order from Rachel.Thank you, I look forward to the next time I shop at Blacks.Highly recommended.

Just turned at 15.39 on a Thursday and it’s shut!!!!Paid to park and it’s shut. Website says it’s open and it’s shut. Opening hours on the door says it is open until 5.30 and it is shut. Very poor.

This is one of Lancaster's best independent camping shops. The staff are very friendly, polite and professional they also have a great knowledge of the products on offer with in the Store. The member of staff you need to see & speak to is called Rachel and she will be able to help you out with your enquiries.

Came here for many outdoor items whilst at uni. Very kind and helpful staff with a decent selection of items. They also accept DofE cards which are a great help for uni students.
