Finlarig Castle
It was a bad rain day so we waited at Shutters Coffee Shop until there was a break. We were fortunate enough to find a break in the rain and was able to see the castle long enough before the heavy rains came back. Even with the rain it was worth the visit.

A very well kept castle ruin. Plenty of parking available nearby and seems to be popular with tourists and locals alike. An excellent place to explore or walk the dog. There are danger notices around the site but I didn’t see anything out of ordinary for a castle ruin site.Well worth a visit if you are in the area

We visited this castle ruin after a visit at the falls of Dochart just up the road. The castle is nestled in the trees next to the cemetery and although small pretty cool and we had fun exploring.

If you're into this kind of attraction this is quite a cool place to visit, It has a very eerie feel to it and can get some really great photo's here.

Not much to see, it's on private property but they leave it open for the public to visit and wander around which is good of them. Wouldn't go out of your way to visit but if you're in the town already you can walk to it easily enough, or there is a small car park outside of the cemetery where they ask you to park.

Cool castle ruins in the middle of the woods which were really easy to find. I got there on foot but there was plenty of parking that I passed.

We enjoyed this castle very much. It was a bit of a challenge to find. If you decide to visit, just park in front of the cemetery and walk up the hill. Hidden in the trees you will find the castle ruins.Don’t take the road beyond the cemetery. It is narrow and difficult to find a point to turn around.

Hidden gem that's perfect for photos. A ten minute walk from here and you're at the side of Loch Tay!! A notice board full of information about the history of this ruin is detailed and interesting. If you feel brave then visit at night...but be careful of the beheading pit (and loose stones)

A novel abandoned castle that you can explore. Parking down by the cemetery, quiet and peaceful a few minutes drive from the falls of Dochart definitely worth the visit if you are in the area seeing the stunning village. Well recommend especially as you can get in to the old castle (obviously enter at your own risk)
