Purity Dental

Our experience at Dudley Purity today was entirely positive and even enjoyable for a visit to the dentist!We would rate all in the Practice very highly from reception through to the dentists themselves.Thank you Purity Dudley.

I have to say terrible service at the start but ended great.Due to shifts pattern and availability of Dentist was difficult to arrange appointment to have dental works carried out following initial check.Receptionist wrote down appointment for me, said all booked and nearly a month later arrived for treatment early to be informed no appointment booked for me. After approx. 10mins of conversation I left without the dental work being carried out.Following a series of conversations with Purity, I was rescheduled the following week and apologised for the error, new measures implemented to prevent this happening in the futureOverall, the initial experience wasn't good but ended great.

Great dentist, took a lot of time and care and willing to thoroughly explain procedures to me. Sensitive to the fact I was a bit anxious and the whole experience was pain-free. I have never been let down by this Practice.

Negative reviews don't reflect how the dental practice is doing currently. There were issues after covid due to staffing but it seems to be back to the excellent service it used to provide. Receptionists now seem readily available and the dentist I saw today was excellent. I was seen on time. I had a check up, scale and polish and a filling (not previously identified) all done in 20 mins. The dentist even switched to hand scaling when he could see I was in pain. Absolutely would recommend.

The dentist I saw was very kind and gentle. Informative of possible future treatment that may be required. Advice given on how to best self-treat my sensitivity problem. Apologetic for seeing me later than my appointment time ( this wasn't a problem to me ). Very nice lady.

Had my check up/clean/polish today with Shuhb. Although I always fear this as my teeth are very sensitive today's experience was really good with no problems and clean, shiny teeth.

It is my pleasure to leave a review for Purity Dental who have been nothing but accommodating and gentle during my treatment. Their establishment is 5* regarding hygiene and the atmosphere in general, is very friendly. I would like to take time to highlight Dr Sharma and the fact that she made me feel so comfortable, that I forgot the dentist was a fear of mine.I was guided through my whole treatment (a tooth extraction with Anaesthesia) and whilst undergoing the Anaesthesia process, Dr Sharma and her team offered their support and spoke to me which, allowed me to feel safe and calm.I would recommend Purity Dentist to everyone, especially those who haven't had the best experience or have a general fear.Thank you so much again!

Somewhat mixed tbh.....I went after a long term absence so was a bit nervous. I was told after having an x-ray that I had an abscess and needed a tooth extraction......the tooth however could be saved if I paid privately! Don't understand that one tbh....either you can or can't save the tooth. It shouldn't come down to money......should it?So I was then told to make an appointment to have the tooth out and was told I would have to wait 7 weeks this despite having heard the receptionist telling people to come in next day for consultations. 7 weeks when I came with toothache in the first place! Having told them I was nervous anyway....a 7 week wait is not a good idea. I was then subjected to having to prove that I was receiving Universal Credit due to being out of work. I had to show them on my phone which was a bit embarrassing in front of a reception full of people.So overall..... not a great experience.So overall......not the best

To be honest this dentist was amazing when I first went. I am so scared of the dentist and the lady was so nice and also had sedation. 2nd time I went I needed a filling and I wanted sedation again. She said there would be a wait. One year later still hadn't heard anything. Rang them to be told they weren't doing sedation. Didn't even let me know till i rang them. So had to pay another £26 for check up for them to refer me to cradley heath. Waited 4 weeks hadn't heard anything to then be told they had declined the sedation. So rang back purity to be told I'd probably have to pay another £26 again !!! And can't get an appointment for another month!!! I'm really disappointed. Its unfair when you are petrified to go

Dentists are brilliant here, its just a shame the reception team lets it down. My check up was due in April, they couldn't get me seen until August. Then the day before my appointment, it got cancelled and couldn't be seen until October. When we did get seen the dentist was wonderful, however, there was a huge mix up with my paperwork and i got sent a letter threatening a penalty fee when I'd already paid. I have since left 2 voicemail messages (which didn't get returned) to get my husbands filling redone which has dropped out (which was only recently done) and I have to wait another 4 weeks! Its such a shame as the dentists here are so thoughtful to the care they give.
