Strettle Memorials

We used Strettle for our grandmother's stone. Paid for insurance then when letting faded after 2 years tried to use insurance to be told it's not covered. Asked for a quote recently to add a inscription to the stone they took it to the workshop then gave me a price nearly twice my other quotes. I refused it cost me £100 to get the stone back. He called me and offered to price match but I will never use or recommend them to anyone else.

Nice people to deal with, but the order process is a bit haphazard and I didn’t pay enough attention to the small print. I ended with gilded lettering, but thought we’d agreed on silver. As I wasn’t given the opportunity to see the stone in the workshop before it was set in place, my only options were to pay extra to have it removed and re-done, or leave it.Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend
