Delight Chinese Takeaway

Lovely friendly staff . Very busy inside sometimes there is no time for answering phone that's why I prefer order in . Waiting its not a problem especially all customers and service are so friendly. Food wise I think the best one in radius of 10 miles in my opinion.

They make great food but the delivery is abysmal. 2.5 hours last week and 2.75 hours this week, plus the order not right. I couldn’t ring to complain as, not only don’t they have enough delivery drivers, but they don’t have enough ppl manning the phones. It took 47 attempts at dialling to get through initially to place the order!! Then I wanted to add to the order but gave up after 73 times of the phone being engaged. So I wasn’t going to waste any more time ringing to point out my Chicken fried rice main meal was just a small portion of fried rice. Their system shows them who’s ringing and the address, but falls down as it doesn’t show the last order, and ppl often want a repeat of the previous order, in my experience, or to modify it slightly. That would save so much time (and mistakes!) Food good as I say, but the rest leaves a lot to be desired. Won’t be using them again.

I ordered a meal and specified the allergies I have and the meal I received I could not eat due to it having spices and garlic in. I rang to complain and they offered to replace the noodles but not the rest which was all on one plate. The lady on the phone was rude. I got a refund in the end.None of the food we had between us as a family was any good the rice meal had barely any sauce and was dry. The wontons contain puréed filling spread on filo pastry and not an actual piece of filling so they were dry and awful. I would avoid this place

Rang for a delivery and after one hour forty five minutes we rang to see why was taking so long. They said that it had gone out and should be with us in a couple of minutes. No... Another 45 mins it turned up cold... Put it down to maybe new driver. Week or so later tried to order a delivery.. Called and they said they would not deliver... Really.. They won't deliver because they were late last time.. If they can afford to turn down custom then they must be able to afford it. Went elsewhere and the food was better.. No loss on our part but used them regularly and was big orders.... My advice.. Use these as a last resort...

Just had sweet and sour chicken king prawn chop suey fried rice and prawn crackers.The chicken was inedible as it was still pink, the king prawn had 4 prawns and the rest of the dish was carrot and beansprouts no flavour at all. Do not go

Lovely tasty food, but waiting times are way out. Got told 20 mins and 40 mins later we got our food.Second visit to this Chinese. We pre-ordered by phone for collection. Was told it would be ready in 40 mins. 70 minutes later, we finally got our food. It's definitely worth waiting, though.

Another amazing meal, enjoyed on to celebrate my husbands birthday with friends. Meal for 6 all food was piping hot and full of flavour.I’ve used this Chinese many times since moving here 2 1/2 years ago, never had a bad meal

Everything was good, I ordered the first time the other night, Chicken chow mein, egg fried rice, chips and sweet and sour sauce, the food was nice and hot, polite service from the young lady behind the counter.

Ordered quite a big order and in that order was prawn fried rice well the prawns was clearly off confirmed by 3 of us how they can sell them when they taste like that i will never no so chucked that 7 pound plus down the drain then the rest of the order never got eaten waste of money and the first time ive had bad food from that chinese in 17 years when it was owned by faye the food was the best round here by far but even the rice smelt funny not good at all man disgusting about the vile prawns stay well away

The food was given to the wrong person because the driver didn't ask what the order was or where the other person ordered it from so eventually when I got my food it was cold. I called the Chinese and the girl on the phone said it wasn't the drivers fault.It's not rocket science to ask who's collecting the chinese where they ordered it from or wht they ordered.Very bad customer service.The order was also wrong as I didn't mention crispy beef and that's what they sent.Will never use again.
