The Groom Room Sheffield Norton

Clean, friendly and my dog loves it. Our dog looks and smells amazing and so soft fur for days after. The cut is always very good and to what we ask for each time. The cut always grows out perfectly too till next trim. Lovely caring people that work there too.

So polite and friendly, great service and my babies always look smashing!!! Would recommend the add on conditioner, makes life easier in between grooms! I brought a bottle from the shop

The most amazing place for dogs, the girls Maddie and Carmel are true experts and so friendly. My Cavapoo comes away happy and looking beautiful.

We had a terrible experience in December with the Norton Groom Room in Sheffield. The place seems to be run by teenagers who seriously lack manners. Our pup was booked in for a full groom but because of an accident on the parkway, we were a few minutes late. The girl on reception told us that because of this, they would only do half a groom instead, which we accepted. However, what followed was not ok. Our puppy came out visibly shaking. When we got home it transpired that under his tummy and legs, he was cut several times so much so that it drew blood. He was not himself for a couple of days after his groom. Normally a lively, bouncy cockapoo, he stayed curled up in his bed and he lost his appetite. We of course complained to the Groom Room about all this and even sent photos of the injury. Considering our visit happened on 6 December 2021, they still haven't refunded us up until now, and it is 1 February 2022!

Horrible experience. And not worth the money! My puppy came back shaking and was not himself for a couple of days. He was poorly cut, nails hadn't been clipped and and he looked traumatised. The lady who groomed him obviously didn't know how to do her job and said he was fine when he was shivering and whining. Horrible experience for my puppy. Definetly be changing to the groomers Hairy hounds. They sound amazing and have been recommended by many dog owners. Thanks for reading, I hope this helps.

Excellent service and really helpful staff. We took our alaskan malamute who is very stubborn and hard work for his first ever groom so we waant expecting anything but he came out looking a million dollars and smelling so nice. We was very vert happy. Thank you again.

My dogs had a lovely time it was their first ever at the groom room and they came out really nice and clean! They told us they were the best behaved frenchies they had :) Thank you!

I always take my 3 dogs to be groomed by Maddie at Norton Groom Room. Maddie knows exactly how to make my dogs feel relaxed and comfortable throughout their groom. I have one very nervous dog and after trying multiple groomers, Maddie is the only person I trust with him now. The dogs always come back to me looking and smelling gorgeous. Highly recommend Maddie!!!!

I used the Groom Rooms at the St James retail park for 2 years, during this time my dog was left in many different states, poorly clipped, nails not clipped, razor lines in his fur. The staff change regularly and I never knew who would be grooming my dog or what state he’d be left in. They charge £45 per groom and a £15 rolling deposit, which I’ve found is one of the most expensive groomers in Sheffield. I went in one day to find there was no staff at all, I spoke with the store supervisor and she complained that senior management were regularly taking staff from that store and placing them somewhere else and leaving the store at St James retail park unstaffed! All in all not a great experience.

Maddie was great with my dog. He is a very nervous dog and doesn't really like strangers but the Groom Room were great with him . And he looked very clean and pampered after his groom :) Highly recommend.
