I thoroughly enjoyed my 6 weeks course with Positive Pup! An excellent resource to get your dog learning the basics and growing the bond between you. Would highly recommend!

I highly recommend this trainer ... we had to switch to online video calls due to the government guide lines on Covid, I was really impressed on the results we got with our German shepherd pup! Melanie was kind, understanding and very professional.

I had an awful experience with Melanie at The Positive Pup. Our puppy training classes were cancelled due to covid. Melanie would not give us a full refund and insisted on keeping a £15 'administration fee' despite the fact that it wasn't our choice to cancel the classes. We weren't interested in the online classes offered as we wanted our puppy to socialise with other dogs. Melanie was rude and patronising and kept citing her 'terms & conditions' which wouldn't hold up in court. She eventually returned the £15 however this caused a lot of stress and time wasted, and she has banned us from attending classes in the future, which I found to be very hostile. Avoid this trainer!

We’ve used Mel’s amazing services for rising stars, relaxed rally and most recently for introducing a baby into our family. So many thoughtful and considered ways to introduce our dog to our new born prior to his arrival, from sounds, smells and new everyday movements and most importantly the changes in how we are going to be with our dog - can’t thank Mel enough and would highly recommend for all manner of guidance to all dogs of all ages

Mel and her team were very easy to work with and gave me very practical advice, 10x better than 'strict' kennel club trainers I have used before. Highly recommend!

We’ve just finished the Rising Stars course which we took following on from the Little Stars class. We found Mel and her team hugely knowledgeable and the courses covered so much content. We were given plenty of information and activities to practice at home between classes.During the classes there was plenty of one-on-one assistance with either Mel, Marie or one of the two Amys and if they ever sensed we were getting a little frustrated with our stubborn beagle, they were never far away with a reassuring word.All in all, highly recommended.

I took the recall package for my Miniature Schnauzer. Mel knows her stuff, my dog loves her. We have been taught the skills to get my dog back. Because its fun, he enjoys and learns at the same time.We are also learning how to walk on a slack lead. I highly recommend The Positive Pup. What I've learnt a lot & so has my dog, which has helped with my 4 legged friend. Thank you Mel

Our puppy came on leaps and bounds with Mel, he really suffered with anxiety and was particularly anxious around new people and dogs. Archer absolutely loved Mel because she was calm from the very beginning which put him at ease straight away. Mel was very patient and really listened to us, encouraging us every step of the way. Ultimately we have a much better bond with our 6 month old (giant!) pup because of Mel & we can't thank her enough. If you are looking for a purely positive approach to training your pup/dog, then I really recommend giving Mel a message. Thanks Mel for all your time and patience with us and our pup!

Absolutely fantastic people. Brilliant training sessions, incredibly personable, clearly love all the dogs and give so much time and effort in making sure you can do the best for your dog. Each session is so well planned and yet adapted for each owner and what stage they are at. Brilliant advice and amazing people.
