Amazing Cakes by Jean

Please be aware that a large deposit of £275 was taken 18 months ago for a wedding later this year (2016) and Jean will NOT be returning a penny even after an 8 month cancellation notice period was given - this really seems rather unfair to me being an outsider looking in on a distressed enough family, to not even offer alittle return, Jean was also asked if she would make a cake for a birthday instead as there was plenty of money in her pot as she states cakes start at £50 - BUT has refused. Please be careful when booking so far ahead people out there. This has left a sour taste and seems very unreasonable to me

Absolutely amazing experience. Got to make up our wedding cake to suit every detail. So many things I hadn't even thought of. Jean and her husband could not have been more helpful. They made the whole experience an absolute joy I cannot wait to see the finished result and I cannot recommend her highly enough

Jean and her husband have been very accommodating to what we would like for our wedding cake. We had tasted the vanilla sponge and it's exactly what you get with the name of their business, Amazing Cakes!On the day when we saw our cake we was thrilled to bits! It was so beautiful and we couldn't be happier. The chocolate and orange cake that we had part of our tier was delicious. Sponge was so light and butter cream so smooth and fluffy. I WILL BE BACK to order a cake again from Jean. We would highly recommend this lovely lady.
