I was fortunate enough to complete my final year project under the supervision of Dr Amir Keshmiri. I was able to use the facilities at ManchesterCFD which enabled me to run a multitude of simulations with the powerful workstations available - completing the work I initially planned would not have been possible otherwise. I would encourage those who are considering working with ManchesterCFD to do so as you will benefit greatly from their expertise, experience and facilities, as I did with their biomedical team which I will utilise in my future career indefinitely.

During my undergraduate studies at the University of Manchester, I had a chance to work with this group of researchers that specialize in design and computational testing of potential solutions to various world-class issues. I was part of their biomedical team and benefited from their resources and extensive experience in the field of computational fluid dynamics (CFD).

I did my dissertation with a guidance from Mr. Amir Keshmiri. He gave me an opportunity to explore the project all by myself, improve my creativity and answer my curiosity.

Being one of the group is great experience in my student career. The team was well leaded and organized by Dr. Amir Keshmiri. In the team, a lot of professional experts and consultants can offer the consultancy of different CFD research, for example aneurysm CFD simulation.

I was fortunate to have Dr Keshmiri as my Master's project supervisor and benefitted from his in-depth knowledge of CFD to assist me. Coming from a background in physics, my project used CFD to model the reactor for AGRs (advanced gas-cooled nuclear reactors) with the aim of improving the efficiency of their design. Amir is able to apply his knowledge of CFD to a wide variety of technologies and he is a pleasure to work with.
