The Barley Mow
Fantastic find. Lovely local dog friendly pub. It was out of out way but well worth the drive. We ordered, hamburger, jambalaya, mow trio, and Rib eye steak. All meals where cooked to perfection. Service was as good as the food.

Will never order from here again. Had 2 Sunday dinners delivered, all the sauce from the cauliflower cheese had leaked everywhere, the dinners were average size portions and both dinners were squashed in the foil containers everything was flattened and tasteless. Not enough gravy for two people. And to add insult to injury they charged me £35 for the 2 dinners.

Come for Sunday roast first time after new chef and I do have to say it is one of the best around. Portion is perfect, meat is tender and vegetables beautiful with plenty of gravy. 4* unfortunately is not due to food but loud locals who made experience less enjoyable due to swearing. However, despite that it's a yes for food and we will be back to try something from regular menu.

Just had a very enjoyable Sunday Lunch. Staff were brilliant, food was amazing. Relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend it. It has been many years since I had been there but can't wait to go back again.

A tad gutted that we chanced upon this pub on our first evening eating out in quite some time. The food was awful. Moroccan lamb too salty to eat. The rice was set hard in the centre of the stew. There was only “one” bottle of red wine in the pub which was a £3.95 bottle of Tesco vinegar. Which we were then charged £15 for.The only good thing about the place was the young girl serving us who was very polite and attentive. Had it not have been for this young girl I would have complained and sent the food and wine back .Suffice to say we will not be returning.

A very traditional pub, I'm sure it could be dating back to some 400 years or so. A very warm environment and lovely clientele.

Large car park, great roast and service. Only let down was one incorrect meal causing one dinner receiving their meal once we all finished, but she said the delicious vege wellington made up for it ❤️

Always a great Sunday lunch!Proper old school country pub.Perhaps a little hidden away in the beautiful village of graig Penllyn in the vale of Glamorgan but well worth the adventure!

The one star is purely for the young girl that waited on our table. We were the only people eating there was a 25 minute wait for the food. The food it self was not very nice at all. The restaurant was freezing. Should of left in hindsight. Didn't eat all the food. Such a shame first time there will not be returning.
