Back at it , well done to the organisers

Huge site with seven stages. lots of great bands. as a performer the organisation was pretty hopeless. The passes etc were sent with insufficient postage and the incorrect name which meant we didn't get them. The parking and drop off were fine, but the advance instructions were not clear and the security at the car park (as distinct from the entrance to the venue) were hopeless.We played on the accoustic stage and the engineer had a different timetable from the one we were sent.The gear was good and the man on the desk was great; but, we had the loudest band of the day playing behind us and it was really hard to hear (the sound engineer did everything he could). The performers before and after us played in relative quiet so we were just unlucky. It did not seem very busy anfd I hope they are able to hold it next year.
