Absolutely excellent experience all round for both my level 1 and level 2 WSET. I even experienced some of Debbie’s wine tastings in the city and enjoyed every minute of them! Super professional and lots of fun while learning

What a fantastic night! My wife and I have never been to a wine tasting session before but will certainly be going again. Debbie ran the class which focused on New World Whites V Old Worldf Whites. We were made at ease quickly and enjoyed learning about the wines.

Took my dad and my father in law for a wine tasting afternoon. It included lunch and was an absolutely super day. Lots of insight, lots of knowledge and plenty of laughs. Would highly recommend

Went to their premium cheese and wine tasting at Delilahs in Nottingham and had an amazing time. So interesting but also not too serious. Pairings were amazing and it was also so great that you could go downstairs to the shop afterwards and they had all the cheese you had tried for you to buy if you wanted. Debbie was a fantastic host and had us laughing within minutes. Told some great stories and also full of recommendations for other pairings. Brilliant evening, highly recommend.We were given vouchers as a gift which was great as we could pick the date suitable for us. Long expiry date on voucher and really easy to book. We were given them for Christmas last year, brilliant gift idea.

Fantastic wine and cheese tastingDebbie the tutor was very knowledgable and made the evening fun and enjoyable. Excellent wines and very generous cheese portions. Great value for money, highly recommended.

Absolutely great day. Debbie is fantastic, very knowledgeable and able to put things across in a way that is easy to understand, she is also very amusing. We booked the one day course after attending a free tasting at the Nottingham food festival with her, it was a great idea as the one day course was all it says it will be. Just the right amount of wine with a good variety of wines, lunch could be improved as while it tasted good there could have been more of it although Debbie said she would be taking this up with the hotel. I would recommend this to anyone.

Debbie’s combination of skill and lighthearted fun makes any evening with NottsDerby Wine an absolute delight. In the sense that you feel like you’re at a stand-up gig (complete with front-row terrors), but when you leave you have actually managed to learn an awful lot about wine. I have attended multiple tastings and both WSET 2 & 3 and all have been excellent, entertaining, fun and very very educational events!

Debbie is very entertaining and informative. We attended one of her gin events and had a huge amount of fun learning about different styles of gin and tasting through some well-selected examples.We went with friends and we all said afterwards how amazing it is to experience the way a gin’s flavour can be enhanced or change with the right accompaniment.I am now thinking more clearly about the occasions I might drink gin and the garnishes I could use. I highly recommend Debbie and the Notts Derby Wine School and we will definitely be back another time!
