This company expect you to know when they are on holiday and for how long!! No notice, no message on their answerphone, no sign up - great business acumen!Was placing a very large timber order - glad I gave my business to someone with a little more respect for their customers!!

Bought 130 pieces of feather edge along with other materials and a week later the Notts Re falling out this shouldn't happen excus is hot weather well my other fencing which is 8 years old that's ok they weren't interested I guess be cause they never bothered ring me back very disappointing considering the size of operation

It was very busy , I was 9th in the.que and waited 45mins to be.served in the yard.The two.guys on the fork lifts were non.stop and very helpful.

Amazing product range of excellent quality fencing/posts and timberproducts generally. Very competitive prices too. I went to Ellis timber today, I was told by the office, to wait by my vehicle and the yard staff would serve me and give me a chit to them return to the office and pay, firstly I was overlooked and someone who arrived after me, but was clearly known to staff, was served first, i the stood there by my vehicle for half an hour being ignored, by the painfully slow fork lift drivers, I chose to leave at this point, as I don’t have unlimited time to waste unlike Ellis Timber employees!

Had excellent service at their office when ordering. Very polite, helpful and cheerful. Delivery on day specified and goods neatly stacked. Thank you Ellis Timber.

Allways very helpful and nothing is to much trouble ..last week I purchased four feather boards at a value of £2.30 and got the same high standard service as the builder next to me buying 30 odd fence panels etc top notch place .

My first visit today. I live in Mulbarton, so a nice 22 mile trip to get 30 feather edge boards. Very pleased I went, as they were all very polite and professional. I was served very quickly and they loaded my car for me. The young lady in the office was polite and helpful. I will without doubt use them again and recommend them to my friends.The quality and price were both spot on. Well worth a trip.

Please read and like my other reviews if you want, thanks.I've been going to Ellis Timber for a while now to pick up large loads of timber for a local manufacturing company. This has always been during the pandemic and they have been operating strict Covid-19 rules all of that time. They have a one way system taking you to the office and a strict one customer only inside the office where masks are required and hand sanitiser is available on the counter.Once you've paid for your order you're given an invoice and go back outside and wait by your vehicle. This is where the process in my opinion is a little lacking. As there is no parking system in place you basically park wherever you want within the parking area, the forklift operators don't know who arrived first and so rely on the customers approaching them whilst they are working to get their attention and get the invoice filled.In general it seems to work OK but I feel that some people who may not be regulars may miss out on their place in the queue".My advice is to be pushy and not worry about the other customers

A Exellent wood yard at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended trying them.
