Halfords - Paisley

The bike bought with stabilisers came without stabilisers as Halfords stoped selling them any more and my wife was not offered any help despite me being in a wheelchair .Very bad customer service. They should have advised us that a bike with 14” wheels might not take stabilisers Seems to me they would say anything to make a sale.

Purely for convenience of location, I hesitantly dropped into Halfords Paisley today for new number plates after terrible customer service in the past. In contrast, the service I received from Kyle was first class. He went out of his way to help us and the job was completed to a far higher standard than before. Due to this, we purchased other items and found him to be polite, knowledgeable and efficient. I would thoroughly recommend asking for Kyle when requiring assistance at this store. So nice to visit a shop and be helped by someone so good at their job!

Don't bother booking an appointment as when you turn up on time for the first appointment of the day you are told to wait as customers who have just turned up on the day are given priority over a booked appointment time. Counter staff rude and unhelpful. Avoid.

Made a soft check in my car for the batteries. They fit small parts, and do WiFi cheks. If you need a mechanic, this is not the place. Go for a garage. To any end, friendly staff. Thank you.

Much better service by the female in the Paisley store. I got my hybrid bike last December at the braehead store and only used twice as my bum was killing me and my legs. Thought I was just struggling after not being on a bike for about 8years. I didn't even want to go back on the bike as it took 3 months to feel better.Straight away the female employee at the cycle area in Paisley noticed the saddle was at the lowest height and should be hip height. I did think it was that but I also needed tbe gears adjusted as they weren't great from day one. So she also tightened them up a tad.She checked the height was OK by asking me if I wanted to take it a wee cycle round the carpark outside, which I did, and what a difference. No more serious butt issues from now on. apart from a little ache getting used to sitting on a saddle again.ThanksApologies I didn't get your name for this review.

Having purchased a new pressure washer on line the other day, I called into the Paisley store to collect it and the process was very straight forward and first class service from both of the counter staff.Many thanks once again.

I come to this Halfords a lot and when I got to the checkout I showed him my Blue Light card. He applied the discount and when I asked my friend to give me my money, as he had cash for me from giving him a lift, they refused my card as he said I wasn’t purchasing the items. Even when I said it was buying it and I brought the items to the till, he refused to let me use the card. Generally the staff are lovely but this one member of staff seemed to have a bee in his bonnet and it isn’t right that he is taking it out on customers, even the other member of staff gave him a dirty look.

Don't bother. The carpark is in such disrepair that it damaged my alloys. I put in several complaints to several departments to highlight this, not had a single reply other than telling me they have passed it onto a different department. The other department said the same thing and sent my complaint to the original source..... 3 months later, no reply, apology or solution and I'm left with expensive damage to my car

Went down on spec full member 20% discount last day 2 headlamp bulbs 2 sides fluids under bonnet and tyres check free excellent service all round by shop and service staff merry christmas to all
