Absolutely shocking service every time I visit this petrol station the same guy always makes me feel like a criminal he never switches the pumps on until I physically go over to him. On 1 occasion he stopped the pumps at £39 and told me that it was enough and today he put the pumps on trickle took me 5 minutes to put £15 in I wanted to put more in but didn't have all night avoid avoid avoid

This was my check point to reach my destination in Middleton earlier on today (25/9), lovely staff really helpful. Went back in after finishing my appointment for a coffee and a vegan chocolate muffin which all went down a treat

0 stars, worst customer service, Shell should send the guys to charm school! the guy on the till thinks hes something special, he never says please or thankyou, always chatting on his phone through an ear piece, you know who you are , probs making personal calls. I'm taking my business elsewhere, there are better petrol stations nearby.

The salesman on the night shift (Abdul) as shown on his badge is very rude. Just don't want to serve.. his way of talking is very unprofessional and kept me waiting for my order way too long while doing nothin.

After a bad experince, I stop using shell petrol station for long period...at least a year. Eventhough I have to drove pass everyday.I thought it should be an improvement after a long while...But I'm very wrong!Revisit again is because I got voucher from my car insurance and it was in the (Shell Go+)apps.This new to me, so I approached the counter to ask for help. I ask him whether shall I scan at the counter or at the pump. And whether shall I scan it before of after filling.He than raised his voice and rudely ask me to wait and stop talking to him. There are no other customers in the store at that time. Only him and two other staffs behind the counter chatting.This is very disgusting service and I wonder why it has been so long and is still the same!Sorry no more Shell petrol for me and my company ever again.

I went to fuel my car like any other car user. Got to the pump and then waited for the guy to click to allow me to fuel up. I waited for 30 seconds while looking at him and him doing the same at me. Still no fuel coming through. Put my hands up and say what you doing let me fuel. During that time a white woman on the other side of my pump came in and started fueling up straight away which I found odd. He finally let me fuel up so I just got on with it and thought that was a bit odd. I normally put £35-£40 in my car. It got to £25 and all of a sudden the pump stopped. That’s when I got mad as I was running late for work. Told the guy what’s he doing why’s he switched it off and he shrugs his shoulders. He tells me to come inside and pay and I refuse and ask him to come outside. He serves most customers then he comes out and says what am I doing. I reply saying why have you switched the fuel off to which he denied and said I did it which made no sense as the only way the fuel switches off from my side is if I put the pump back in but I didn’t. He then replies and says “ok it’s because I don’t trust you” which I was in so much shock I started laughing saying you don’t trust me why? He then bluntly says because I think you’re going to steal the fuel! That’s when I got mad. I said if I wanted to steal the fuel would I come in my work uniform and my personal car knowing there’s cameras everywhere. I even showed him my shell app saying what am I going to do go get my shell points then run away without paying. I started causing a scene and the guy tried making me go in and telling me to pay for the fuel and then fuel up the rest and go back in to pay again! Spoke to another customer and she said the guys customer service is bad as she’s dealt with him before. He then realised I won’t steal the fuel shock but then comes out and says I don’t trust Asian boys like you! Which I replied like me what do you mean that’s racist. Apparently all young Asian boys steal fuel so I said to the guy take a photo of me and hang it on the window saying no Asians allowed if he’s going to do that to every Asian that comes! I said all of this to the customer service at shell and at first she was nice and also said he can’t say that that’s racist and agreed to everything I said. She said she’ll get back to me about the case within 5 days. She then says they apologise for the inconvenience caused and that extra training will be done to avoid this from happeneing to which I replied saying that’s not good enough. What he’s done is a sackable and a criminal offence and he’s been let off with a warning. They weren’t taking it serious! I then said I want to be compensated as I missed my session due to the worker and lost out on money for no reason to which she replied saying if he was being racist to you then why didn’t you just walk out? I have never heard anyone in customer service say that before. I mean now I know why he didn’t get the sack if the customer service adviser was telling me this. She then starts saying big companies don’t sack straight away they give a warning to which I gave an example if he groped someone while at work would he still be there to which she was silent. Never going again full of racists!!! His name was wasim!

Joke. Pay before you fuel up and cash only. On top of that cash machine not working. Avoid

Shell petrol pump are always the best...

Just had a bad service at the petrol station ever...the sales man really doesn't know how to serve the customer.He also kept uber drivers waiting and was very rude to them..no politeness..I didn't want to argue with this old man because of his age.

Terrible experience of this place on 7 August. Staff need training on how to work the Shell app at the till, which their incompetence then denied me a free Costa coffee I was owed under the app reward scheme...sort of the point of it all really. Whilst I was trying to sort it out with staff on the counter, the delay prompted a person in the queue behind me to stick his unwanted beak in and offer an opinion about delaying the queue for a few pence....err £2.70 in fact. I hadn't realised the Shell app had an ask the audience round. Won't be patronising this garage for a while if ever as it's not the first time a similar thing has happened here due to lack of staff training or competence.
