We stayed for my girlfriend’s birthday at the hotel with the Taste Du Vin package and we were blown away with how good it was, it completely exceeded our already high expectations!The room was amazing and the hotel even provided a birthday gift for my girlfriend!The taste du Vin package includes a 5 course taster menu with wine pairing. We couldn’t believe how good this was and have been telling everyone about it ever since. The food was incredible and the service was even better, Shaun couldn’t do enough for us and made the whole experience ten times better with his unbelievable service and expertise on the wine/menu.Would highly recommend the hotel and restaurant to anyone, well worth the money!!

Booked the junior suite expecting it to be one of the 8 pictures you see in their marketing. Unfortunately it was none and probably the worst of the selection. No dual sinks, no twin showers, no balcony, a view I'd expect in normal room.Realistically it's not a suite, just a larger room with a standalone bath. The only seating area in the room has a lovely view of the back of the TV. The room was Perrier-jouet, avoid in my opinion.Disappointed but I'll still return and ask for a suite with a balcony upfront.Didn't eat at the hotel but menus and prices looked good.

Lovely little place. We covered a wedding evening here and the staff were very accommodating. Both the inside and outside areas were nice and available for us to use for photos. Can’t say much else about it.

Stayed here for a business trip. The staff were excellent. The decor is nice.The massive highlight was the English breakfast. It was simple, no beans or hashbrowns but my goodness what was there was incredible. Quality ingredients cooked to absolute perfection. The best English breakfast I've ever had.

Toilet had skid marks, bath was dirty, dirt stuck to sink and beside table thick layer of dust on lamps. Premier in. Down the road has nicer rooms with bigger beds for cheaper. Manager was nice but all out of his hands, can’t guarantee a refund because you can’t cancel after 3 despite booking the room at 7pm and then spending 25 seconds in the room. No idea who gave it 4 stars but won’t be back

We’ve just had an amazing wedding anniversary weekend here and couldn’t fault anything. All staff were welcoming and friendly! The room was beautifully designed and spacious. We brought our dog with us and she got a bed and bowls! We loved the Nespresso machine in addition to a kettle for teas/coffees/hot chocolate. We also love the L’Occitane toiletries! The bath robe and slippers were great for getting out of the roll top bath! Our room also came with a separate large walk in shower! We will definitely return in our next weekend in Newcastle!! Such a great location!

This truly marvellous and unique hotel, the staff, the food, and the decor and ambience are all first rate!… I have disabilities and the team led by JONATHON WATSONFront Office Manager all bent over backwards to help me… Do not hesitate!!… it’s a wonderful experience here :)

I loved staying here. The room was well cleaned and the whole site had a great olden day vide.The breakfast was delicious, one to be remembered.There were three of us but the room wasn’t overly cramped or spacious, it was a perfect cozy size.I slept like a baby which was great consudering I had a very important event the next day.Only two small niggles, we had a room by the road which was quite loud, if the window was open, but soundproofing made it muffled. The shower was window had a glass with a cover but you could still see a bit.Wasn’t quite comfortable but as again I loved staying in this beautiful hotel in Newcastle.Thank you

Stayed here the night after our wedding and had an incredible stay. Decided to go for a meal in the restaurant and it was perfect. In due part to the Bistro Manager Shaun Stewart. He made us feel really special and gave us amazing service - a night we'll remember! Shaun thanks so much mate!
