Premier Inn Portsmouth (Port Solent) hotel

Exceeded expectations our “service dog” was made very welcome very clean and comfortable, peaceful stay. Excellent shower and the wheelchair accessible room was very well laid out.a stool would have been helpful for the sink. Only negative is the outside is strewn with litter

Room was lovely and clean. But the noise from the road is horrendous and the windows do not block it out .tv didn't work but did give us a refund on our breakfeast. Could do with soft closing toilet lids and the noise of people dropping the lids was quite loud.the staff were doing all of the jobs .reception,bar,kitchen,maintenence, got served by a lovely lady at the bar but she was definitely throwed in at the deep end and didn't have a clue what the drinks were.the girl that was at reception when we booked in was not helpful and told us no information at all.it was only by chance that we saw someone swiping the card on the lift that we knew we had to do that to use it.good location.good pub across the road with nice food.

I stay here once a month and have never felt disappointed. Rooms are clean and of rooms standard. Breakfast buffet is good. Staff are friendly and prices reasonable.

I had to booked at the premier inn across the road for Friday 29 September but had to book another night for Saturday 30 which was not available. So I went across the road to Port Solent Premier inn. I tried to book with my phone but had problems however the lovely receptioist Lotti helped me out and even booked the room for me using my phone (I am 76 after all). She was very freindly and extrenemly helpful. Great customer service thank you Lotti!!! Well done Premier Inn

Stayed there for 5 nights for work. My room window was less than 10 meters from a busy road and the noise disturbed me all night, every night. Sound proofing through the windows was non-existent so even if I did get to sleep with the noise from cars the motorbikes with loud exhausts woke me up every time they went past and thats with ear plugs.And then when I ventured into the restaurant I told them about a food allergy I have which is not one of the big 8. Part way through my meal I found the very thing I told them I cant have broken up and mixed in with the food which I will be taking further.Edit: I just found out the charge for my 1 pint of beer in my stay has been charged 3 times to my card.

Our go to place to stay when in Portsmouth. Comfy and clean. Staff friendly and reasonably priced (the rooms not the staff).Could do with some reasonably priced EV chargers though as the Tesco ones nearby are short stay only.

Receptionist was friendly, she effected the error on my reservation.Breakfast was excellent after a restful night with my son.

A fantastic place to stay if visiting Portsmouth or, an overnight stay on your way for a cruise from Southampton. The hotel staff are lovely and offer great service. The rooms are clean and in as new condition and so for the cost, it's a wonderful place to stay. We we're offered a great deal of dinner and breakfast at a good set price. After driving for 10 hours on busy roads, this was just a fantastic place to stay. Home bargains and a huge Tesco's are a minute's walk and so handy for those last minute bits for our cruise. Would definitely stay again and Portsmouth is a wonderful place.

Experience was ok but not brilliant. It wasn’t clearly communicated that dinner at restaurant couldn’t be prepared unless it was preordered as the kitchen was operating with one chef, so - ended up in the Pizza Hut opposite on both nights. The staff also made it seem as if any engagement was a hassle though this appeared to be because they were stretched. Elevator is very grubby and gives quite bad impression when going from room to ground floor and vice versa. However, room was perfectly adequate for my stay and had two good nights sleep.

Given room 17 on ground floor. Room clean, air con worked great. Very little noise. Very little interaction from staff. Sort of forced to check in at a machine. 3rd visit to a premier inn hotel chain in 3 weeks.and things are not as good as they were precovid in this hotel.Buffet good value but the staff were not really on top of replenishing. Will return for the convenience.
