Clean and lovely gym.A good choice of facilities to use.Great staff, in particular Kerry B. Thanks to Kerry’s professionalism and kindness I happily referred two of my family members who also came back to me and said the same thing about Kerry. They have both since joined the gym.:)

Worst customer service experience ever. The black lady at the front desk was unprofessional, condescending sarcastic and above all rude. I went in yesterday with a Groupon voucher. On arrival I told the lady I have a groupon voucher and she looked at me as if I’ve asked her to move mountains. All they have to do is scan the code but they didn’t have a scanner, fair enough. I was asked to fill a form stating my details. After doing so I returned to the black lady at the desk only to tell me to fill it in again as she cannot read my handwriting ( also fair enough) but the way I was spoken to with her sarcastic condescending manor. She made me feel really uncomfortable also with other customers standing around. So I said to her I’ll spell my email out and she could write it herself (this took literally 1mins as there was only two letters in my email she could not read) but yet wanted me to fill it out again, like I was at school and she was in a position of authority over me. After waiting for what felt like an eternity. I asked politely, why this process is taking so long, as she stared glaring at the screen and what her replied to me was “this process takes long I’ve done this hundreds of times”. While looking at me as if I was questioning her job. I didn’t like the way she spoke to me nor did I appreciate her attitude towards me. As it was my first time visiting I was unaware of the locker key situation, which was not explained to me by her and I had to ask another person in the locker room ( which was awkward as I had already taking half my clothes off).The facilities are decent but let down by one rude staff member who really needs an attitude adjustment.Why be customer facing if you can’t deal with customers ?. I will not recommend this gym. Unless you like being spoken down to. Please retrain your staff member on how to deal with customers. Or even avoid the whole thing and just buy a scanner !!!

Outstanding gym with great facilities. Exceptionally nice staff and lovely cleaners. The odd user abusing facilities apart from that very impressive. Iv learnt over the years to maintain a good gym the service users must also input to keep a good environment. Yes this gym does have 90% good service users keep it up guys

Good gym with great swimming pool, sauna and steam room and FITT classes included in membership.Can get busy and so lockers aren't always available because most don't work when trying to lock them! The shower area sometimes smells really bad as do the toilet area! Would he helpful to have some kind of spray of freshener system or clean the showers more often (maybe guttering too).People are friendly but some can be inconsiderate and use up more space than needed in the changing rooms.Be aware that the facilities are shared both men and women and kids. During the weekend the swimming pool will be filled with children and you may not find space to swim and especially if you're not a good swimmer you might feed this becomes challenging for space and comfort!

The village gym is really clean and maintained well. The recent equipment upgrade has been brilliant. They actually listen to members feedback.The staff are friendly, especially Kerry B. She is always willing to go out of her way to help. Having a pleasant person at the front desk really sets you off for a good workout!

I am a long-standing member of the gym, having enjoyed the benefits of my membership for several years. The facility itself is truly remarkable, boasting a welcoming atmosphere and a community of friendly individuals with whom I often share enjoyable moments. I must highlight the exceptional service provided by Kerry, a dedicated member of the gym reception team. She consistently goes above and beyond to assist members, readily offering her support whenever it is required. Even in moments when I forget my membership card, Kerry greets me with a warm smile and promptly resolves any issues. I cannot recommend this gym highly enough. However, I do encounter a recurring challenge related to parking, as finding a suitable spot can be quite difficult

As soon as my 12 months tie in is up I will be leaving. It's too busy, probably because of hotel guests using it and too many members. I cant remember when I've seen all treadmills working at once. Usual 25/30 % are out of action. Yesterday again today at 3pm no toilet paper in the gents. There's a picture up of the manager on the wall. Have asked to see her on different occasions and she's never available. Emails are not replied to. I was a member a few years ago but it's gone downhill since then.

I’ve been going to Village Gym Solihull for a number of years now and really love the vibe and community feel of the club. The pool and facilities are great and the array of classes are awesome. The staff are good too - but I have to have a special mentions for Anthony and Tom - they are out of this world - always friendly, happy to meet members and so hard working. Anthony never stops grafting. Kerry is also brill on reception. Gareth’s boxerercise and Tom’s core strengthening classes are the best. Keep up the good work. Eyad.

I went to use the swimming pool with my children for the first time. I paid for the hour as the children and adult swimming is supposedly from 9am to 12pm. My sister has also joined us and paid and aware that we could only use it for an hour as we got there for 11. The swimming pool was occupied with a adult lesson which we had to wait 15 minutes. We are then told the children were making too much noise!!! It’s an adult and children time! The children were splashing and laughing. The pool wasn’t clean as my daughter found tissues. Another parent who has used the establishment before had confirmed they are constantly telling the children off. We used the pool for 30 minutes and left. The whole experience was uncomfortable from the life guard constantly watching us. No customer service skills. The changing rooms had one hairdryer. Would not recommend.We did call in the morning and wasn’t advised that there is a class.It’s clear from your response that you happy with your staff attitude towards children.Won’t be attending again.

I enjoy the 20m pool and jacuzzi, I have not actually used the gym yet. Changing facilities are clean, showers are good with shower gel in each cubicle.Bistro Bar is good, plenty of TVs showing sports, on big games rugby / football it is lively, usual bar type food available, bonus of discounted Bistro purchases with the gym membership card.There is a small Starbucks coffee outlet.All the gym staff have been very pleasant to me, no complaints there.
