I rarely write reviews but am very happy to do so for AJ Arborists. The whole process from start to finish was professional, friendly and easy - and they did a great job.When a team of 7 people arrived on the day, I wasn't quite sure what to expect (I thought it would only be 2 or 3) - but once they were underway I could see why they had the number of people they did. They got on with the job in super quick time, meaning less impact for us - they took just over an hour to sort out 4 trees, including one that was really quite big. This meant we were affected for such a short period of time (one of the other companies we had a quote from said it would take two days - whereas AJ were done in just over an hour!).They were good guys, friendly and respectful. They cleared up properly afterwards and the trees look great now.So pleased with the work - and would thoroughly recommend AJ Arborists to anyone who needs this sort of thing!

Great team of specialists who do exactly what needs to be done. Did a fantastic job of removing a mature eucalyptus that had just grown too big. They worked on 7 trees and i couldn't be happier. Their knowledge and advice with this job was very much appreciated.

Great service. Had several trees removed from our garden and stump grinding. Very prompt quotation, competitive price. Job was scheduled in only a few weeks later. Team who arrived on the day were polite and friendly, worked extremely quickly and cleared up fantastically well after themselves. In short - absolutely no hassle and a great job done. Alasdair and his team were great. They walked us round the garden explaining the condition of the trees we had and advised what work would be needed both now and long term. They carried out a crown reduction on a yew tree in the garden professionally and the tree looks great. We will definitely use them in future and I would highly recommend them.

Job date 27 May 2021We moved into a home with 25 year established garden. Some trees and old shrubs needed to be removed according to surveyors report. . I tagged the items with Alasdair who came to survey and discuss the job, then his team who were very courteous and efficient cleared the garden and ground down the large roots within 3 hours. Glen the ‘tree climber’ reduced overhang from a large neighbouring conifer and the whole garden, patio and drive was left very tidy considering the amount of work they had carried out. They were all wearing safety gear and used specialist equipment. Very impressed all round.

Great service from Alasdair and the team at AJ Arborists. We had a huge conifer hedge cut back and several very large and well established trees shaped. They also revived a young Laurel hedge with mulch and bark chip. It’s already looking healthier. The team were very friendly and knowledgable and worked really quickly together. We would definitely recommend them.

Excellent service from Alasdair, Ben and team. We needed a lime tree and a pear tree pruning and the team took care of this very efficiently. They were very careful with our nearby veg patch and meticulously removed all of the prunings, which they chipped into their truck. The garden was tidier after they left than it was before! Would thoroughly recommend.

AJ Arborists felled three large leylandii outside my home and worked in a cheerful and professional manner clearing all debris from site. I would recommend them to anyone who has problem trees that need attention. A great team and company.

We’ve had the pleasure of using Alasdair for all our tree work over the last seven years. During this time, Alastair has performed crown lifts, general maintenance and tree removals on large beech and sycamore trees.
