A Plus Taxi Service Royston

My wife and I used A Plus for our wedding day, 4 journeys spread across the day to ferry us from home to Cambridge - to enable us to take our son back to a babysitter and head back out again.Each journey the taxi turned up bang on time, with no pressure to rush (ideal for finishing off a pint swiftly!), they let us use our car seat for our son and looked after it for the day, making it incredibly easy.Vassy who looked after us for each journey was absolutely fantastic, lovely guy and made the day so easy, I don't use taxis loads, but absolutely will use them again in the future.Great driver and a well kept car, a superb experience both I and my wife have commented on several times since our wedding last week - as we were both dreading a taxi not showing up and making it a stressful nightmare of having to drive and stay sober!!Thanks again Vassy!

Excellent service. The driver was very friendly and a genuinely nice person. Found myself stranded at the station and was saved by him. Cannot recommend enough!

We have just used this company for the 3rd time, and will continue to do so as we travel back and forth between Florida and Hertfordshire. Our last flight was delayed by 24 hours, they accommodated this last minute unforeseen change, with no issues at all.They are quick to respond, communication as they pick us up from the airport is great, the cars are clean and in good condition, and Vassy is a really nice man, very helpful and polite.All round great service!!

Dishonest about how long taxi would be.Sent a text saying they were outside when they were not. When called to query where taxi was still insisted they were outside. Later got driver to call who was still some distance away.Meant missing the last train.Driver refused to apologise or explain the multiple lies

Whilst visiting England from the US, I had the good fortune to be booked transit with A Plus Taxi Service, both from Heathrow to Cambridge, and from Cambridge to Northamptonshire. The driver, Vassy, was thoroughly professional yet friendly, always exactly on time, a safe and courteous driver, and was a pleasant conversationalist throughout our two hour-long trips. I've taken many, many taxis in my travels, and A Plus Taxi Service stood out enough to warrant a direct review. Excellent service.Fair price. Clean comfortable car. He was on time, helpful and courteous and drove well, including managing diversions in the City of London. He made a real effort to take care of my aged mother.He was outside when we came out, and got us home quickly and safely. He did not intrude in our conversations, but contributed appropriately.I thoroughly recommend.

I booked the taxi and it was confirmed by phone and text. However the taxi never turned up which created great inconvenience and a bad start to the evening. Cannot recommend this wholly unreliable service

Booked a taxi to bring us home from a wedding. We rang during the evening to see if they could come earlier and they said they were back to back. Got a phone call 20 mins later and they had managed to send an earlier car. Great service, the earlier ride was much appreciated. Highly recommend

Tonight I called A Plus Taxi Service because I needed to get medicine to my nephew in Royston urgently and I live in London. The guy I spoke to, I think his name is Rassi (name could be spelt wrong) but he was amazing. It's not something they would normally do but he organised it and the medicine was with my nephew within about 10 minutes. A big thank you to A Plus Taxi Service. Professional, polite and so helpful!
