Very clean and impressive layout.The service was good from start to the end. Food was very well presented, big portions, clean and very tasty. Quality and quantity. Couldn't fault anything.Went with family and we all enjoyed our dinning experience.Only thing I would add is they could introduce card payments, so many card machine suppliers who are cheap and adds to service.

We recently visited Grillz Steakhouse restaurant on Ladypool Road and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. We wanted to order the Lamb Ribs Stack which was out of stock, but we were surprised to find that the Lamb Ribs were available as a starter. We ended up ordering the Lamb Ribs for starters along with Mixed Olives. For mains, we ordered Chicken Parmesan with mash and Ribeye Steak with mash and fries.However, the food took an incredibly long time to arrive. When the starters finally arrived, we were disappointed to find that the plate was only half full of ribs and the rest were chops that had been mixed in. Additionally, the Mixed Olives were supposed to come with feta cheese, but there was no feta to be found. Upon complaining to the waiter Shahid, who provided exceptional service, he apologised and decided not to charge us for the Mixed Olives.To make matters worse, when the mains finally arrived, the Chicken Parmesan was cold and barely edible. However, since we were so hungry and didn't want to wait another 45 minutes for a new dish, we didn't bother complaining. It's worth mentioning that we noticed other patrons coming in and ordering food, and they were served much faster than we were.The Ribeye Steak we ordered was supposed to be cooked medium, but it was served medium rare. While we don't mind medium rare, we do think it's important to serve dishes as they were ordered.Overall, the taste of the food was great, regardless of whether it was served hot or cold. However, the slow service and issues with the dishes were a major downside to the experience. We appreciate the exceptional service provided by Shahid, but unfortunately, we do not see ourselves returning to Grillz Steakhouse in the future.

Visited with the family for dinner and recieved amazing service by Rafi. Portion sizes for mains were really decent, we were all stuffed by the end. Food was well prepared and tasty. Our main complaint would be that a small naan portion cost £3.45. We recommend the Lamb Shank chef's special and ribeye sizzle (medium rare)

Great place to eat I bought the loaded parmersan chicken and their lamb and chicken bhuna we preferred the chicken only because of the extra spice kick. Food came out quickly and I have to say I really enjoyed the loaded parmersan and bhuna is the best in Birmingham. The main negative is that the place is cash only and the seating is a little congested but can't fault the food. However this is a grill place as the name suggests and I didn't really try anything grilled so will need to come back for that another time.

A few things. The service was exceptional but I’ll come back to that. The food was good. The loaded Parmesan was truly loaded. Massive meal. And very delicious. The chicken shawarma turned out not be one of our favourites. We told a waiter and he immediately got the owner to come over. He was exceptional. He apologised. The meal was exactly as described but he saw we didn’t like the combo so he asked my wife to chose something else instead. She had the gourmet burger. Without a doubt the best gourmet beef burger we’ve ever eaten. Perfectly succulent. It was medium rare. So tender and flavoursome. Absolutely amazing. And he didn’t even charge for it. That what you call exceptional service. The 6 pound mango lassi jug is a bargain.

My husband and I came here for dinner on a recent visit into Birmingham. We were very pleasantly surprised by the amazing food, peaceful atmosphere and great customer service. We had the Tawa for 2 which was plenty of food of great variety. We also had Kebabish lamb donner mix which was also very flavoursome. For drinks, we had mojitos and a jug of mango lassi which were both generous sizes and extremely nice! We were kindly given private seating upstairs in the booth without even requesting for this. The owner also turned the heating on upstairs before having us led up there. Our waiter was Alameen who provided great service especially by offering us a divider/ barrier for full privacy. This place is great for sisters who observe niqaab and would like to enjoy good food in total privacy! The Qur'an was also playing in the background which just topped of our experience. We will be recommending this place and hope to be back in the future! Thank you.

Good food and waiters were polite and nice however, the atmosphere is seriously lacking. Come on guys, food isn't everything. Waiter lads cheer up and have a laugh boys. It will change everything to an easy 5stars. Like I said food is great but the vibe is poor!

Worst steak experience considering that I ordered the most expensive dish in their specialty menu. I had specifically asked the restaurant owner that meat should not be ‘pink’ in colour when opting for cooked well-done. The steak was then burnt on charcoal grill rather than being cooked properly which clearly shows lack of culinary skills when it comes to cooking meat properly is something I look into when dining out to avoid unskilled workers handling meat inappropriately leading to stomach issues or food poisoning. Terrible customer service when approached by waiting staff, lack of experience was unable to determine customers needs, for example: not noticing that I had been missing a fork and tried to get their attention.
