Allow services users to abuse and threaten other users. Will allow them back to groups causing panic attacks and relapses of vulnerable service users.Poor service and communication from a company meant to help people.Volunteers who run groups I am aware of are very nice people

I'm a service user here, well was until they banned me from all groups because another service user attacked me and I slapped her round the face in self defence but her and the other woman are still allowed to go. I have been banned for slapping this woman round the face even though she hit me first and has NOT BEEN BANNED.They favouritise service users and they make up their own rules as they go along. They aren't very good. Some of the staff bully you and tell other people about the service users and there situations.

Amazing people, life changing, excellent service

This place keeps getting recommended to me by health professionals. I have found it the least useful out of all of the services I have used. You just get offered continuous community detox with no other support. You are then told to interact with certain groups. Most groups are full and the others are at stupid times so not ideal for anyone who works in a 9-to-5 job. Some of the staff are extremely friendly but I’ve come across a few that have made me feel extremely anxious and not listen to. I did request a new worker but instead of giving me a new worker they got my current worker to call me and try and get me to stay with that person and then accused me of not trying hard enough.Update: it’s not helpful that the worker continuously goes on about budget cuts and that there is no funding for help. I found Mark to be very unprofessional and not helpful at all.

Sometimes in Life, you make the wrong call about a service, and it turns out that they do care!

Extremely friendly very personable response, I was feeling very nervous & alone, I haven't felt this better in a long time due to anxiety & prescription drug issues but even in almost a month I'm feeling really good. The staff are absolutely perfect in every way ,always feel very welcome on each visit

Sorry but they are extremely unhelpful. It took me roughly 3 months to get registered with them I was then called in to one meeting I was told to pour alcohol down the sink & I need to go to early morning groups (even though I mentioned I can’t do mornings) there has been no follow-up or anything at all. My GP is extremely concerned that all help and communication has seemed to just stopped after one meeting. I have managed to get myself better from coming up with my own plan/routine.I would give this place zero stars if possible.

CGL is a great service, they really help people find the right service for their needs. I highly recommend this place!
