Best-in-class selection of quality Scottish meat produce, and their local eggs are THE best. Staff are super friendly and helpful. So lucky to still have GBB serving our local community after all these years. Many thanks GBB.Update May-23: 1) High praise for their beef & haggis pie, homemade on the premises. It was superb. Tender, tasty, quality pieces of beef. Lovely tasty slim layer of haggis. All coated in a sumptuous gravy & encased in a delicious, crispy hot water crust pastry. 2) Also tried their sausage roll with haggis which was a lovely dinner with a side of sweet potatoes & salad. 3) Just bought the steak pie, so will advise later. 4) Their latest Kilduncan Free Range Eggs (as free range as can be at this time, protected from bird flu in a poly tunnel I understand) were also very tasty & better than the more expensive varieties in the bigger supermarkets. Scottish. Fresh.

All sorts of meats: venison, boar, pheasant and others exotic types as well as a great selection of beef, pork, and chicken. Dry aged beef. Sausages. HOUSE MADE HAGGIS!!!! And a great selection of meat pies and sausage rolls, as well as sauces and honey. Also eggs. Love this place with the fiery passion of a thousand Suns.The more I go, the more I like it.

Beautiful meat and great advice. Specialising in game and dry aged meat, this butcher is an old fashioned, meat lovers paradise. If you're shopping for a Christmas roast, make sure you get your order in early!

Had chicken, beef, steaks and sausages many times from here, always good quality and good service given. The staff are really nice and the English man always has a smile and helpful advice on different cuts of meat and best ways to cook them.

Great butchers with a large selection of meat including game. Every time I've been in the staff have been great. Prices are roughly on par with other butchers.

Excellent meat, extremely good selection of meat and staff are so helpful and full of advice. I have returned to eating meat after 38 years of being a vegan/veggie and this is now my 'go-to' butchers. Superb quality. Strongly recommend.

Our “go to” butcher. Excellent range e.g. 3 types of chicken. Chipolatas all year round (to the joy of children and me). They will prepare to your request e.g crown roast of lamb, cut steak to your preferred thickness. Friendly, helpful (will give advice about cooking). We should cherish our butchers, for their skills and their contacts with Scottish farmers. If you want to know the price, I suggest you ask - I can imagine it’s not practical to display them.
