I currently working abroad, so I need a reliable and professional agency to managed my apartment remotely. Thornley Groves was recommended to me for being such a company, and they don't disappoint. They found me a tennant within 10 days. Kept me informed during every process from preparing the apartment, sorting out the utilities, council tax, deposits, and signing all necessary documents and contracts. I can't believe it's been so smooth, I'm not even in the country. It must be down to the dedication of all the staff, especially Jodie Finch, who's looking after my apartment. Give them a try, you just might end up as satisfied as I am!

I requested maintenance assistance from Thornley Groves for several issues in my property, including urgent fire safety concerns that legally required action within 24 hours. It has now been a month, and not a single issue has been resolved. Attempts to communicate via phone have been consistently unproductive—they simply don’t answer.Adding to this, a neighbor informed me that they reported an issue 3 months ago and have yet to receive any response. The lack of response and action on serious matters such as fire safety is alarming.Given my experience, and that of my neighbor, I cannot recommend purchasing or renting through this company. Their disregard for tenant safety and property maintenance is a serious red flag for any potential clients.

Great service from Thornley Groves if you need to rent out or find an apartment in Manchester. Not sure how they did it but I had an offer to rent my Appartment in the Hacienda within 24 hours of appointing (very helpful and professional Samantha Williams) and within 48 hours, I had a total of 3 offers to rent!! Very well done. The follow up on documentation and contracts process very smooth and every issue dealt with very quickly and efficiently (thank you very much Jodie Finch for accommodating all my requests)! Highly Recommended!

Did a 6 hour round trip to view a flat then sent an offer straight away and was assured by the agent we would have an answer the following day. After only one response from the agent, we were left completely in the dark even after multiple emails and attempted phone calls to which there was no response. We can now see on the website that a let has been agreed and there has still been no response from the agent saying that the offer was unsuccessful. Complete waste of time and has ruined other opportunities we could have had with other flats when holding out for a response. Do not recommend, avoid.

We own several apartments which are let in the Manchester area, one of which is managed through Thornley Groves. The communication and response from the management team is non existent. Emails are ignored, wasting my time following up with a response again and again, it's a mess. I am now changing to another agent, naturally this is proving to be challenging too, again no response from the the property manager Georgia Davis and the new management company appears to be having issues obtaining the tenancy details for the transfer too. In fact, they have not even been in touch with me to confirm the management change. I would look elsewhere for customer service. It's bad.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Firstly let us move into a flat with a dangerously leaking roof without mentioning it. Useless and dangerous contractors, no response on email or phone. Claimed we owed rent every month when our rent was always on time.But the worst was after we moved out, (early because of the leaking roof). They tried to charge us £350 for a clean, when I sent the invoice to the landlord he said no clean had taken place. I believe that such invoices are fake and they do it just to make money.Thornley Groves break numerous laws and legislation and should be shut down. Staff are unhelpful and often gave contradictory information, but I’m sure they are overworked and under trained. AVOID AVOID AVOIDWould give 0 stars if possible

The team at Thornley Groves were excellent dealing with the sale of my property. they were especially good when it came to processing the offers received and dealing with the sale through to exchange. With legal issues with cladding on apartment buildings, Natasha and Chris kept in touch with both parties and their solicitors and ensured all involved were kept informed and the sale proceeded. Without their assistance, I the sale may well have fallen through.Five out of five for the hard work and determination. Fully recommended for a city centre sale or purchase.

I initially left a great review as I found the agents were more responsive than elsewhere and were assuring me they were chasing up on offers. However, the service got continuously worse and it was almost impossible to actually speak to someone. I put in several offers on properties and would hear nothing, not even an email to say if I was unsuccessful. I waited for three days to hear about an offer on a property, being assured that they were waiting on the landlords reply to then ultimately be told after having to ring up and demand an update that the property had actually been let with another letting agent!! This was incredibly frustrating.
