I found Anthony’s website very informative and user friendly. I was quickly in touch with Anthony via WhatsApp and he was friendly, patient and helpful in finding the perfect climbing experience for my husband and 12 year old daughter. Anthony was very attentive to our needs and my husband and daughter were blown away by the climb. Very happy to end our stay in Wales on such a high!

Attended a four day learn to lead course last week. Anthony was a great instructor and each day was very varied in terms of learning and location of the climbing. I learnt loads across the four days but Anthony also kept it really fun. Would definitely recommend for anyone learning to lead climb!

I booked Anthony for 3 days in June for 3days climbing on the sea cliffs with a specific route in mind, Dream of white horses we finished the next day on the last pitch of North west frontier , what some climbs ,Anthony was patient and knowledgeable as to the route finding and had a smile on his face even when climbing in full sun and heat of the last dayI will be back for more !

My partner and I spent two days in the mountains on the Advanced Scrambling course and were wholly impressed. Anthony was quick to get us on the mountain so we could begin learning immediately and in the right context. The two days were well tailored to our abilities and course objectives, ensuring that we were challenged (but in a way that was safe). Anthony was also generous with his time, offering a two full days on the mountain, and advice to help us purchase the right equipment for our next adventure. Thanks Anthony.

Superb leading course. I've been leading for 8 years but I learnt loads. Some great stuff on multi-pitch stance organisation. As well as being very knowledgeable, Anthony has a really good training style which keeps the course enjoyable while getting a lot across.

Anthony is a fantastic teacher and an all round fun guy to learn to climb with, I would highly recommend him. I spent 5 days with Anthony, 4 days learning to lead trad and the final day with my partner bringing it all together. At the start of the week I'd never placed a piece of gear, a week later I was totally comfortable leading trad routes. As well as his attentive and supportive teaching style he's got great local knowledge, while most of North Wales was being soaked in torrential rain, Anthony found the small pockets of sunshine and we climbed in glorious weather most of the week. As I was learning on a 1-1 basis we could go at my pace, on the first day I seconded routes so Anthony could assess my ability, we climbed 5 routes, starting at diff and finishing with an E1. By the end of the week I lead a VS 4b sea cliff! On the final day when my partner joined us, she was a bit nervous and Anthony was incredibly reassuring, if you're a bit anxious about learning to climb we can vouch for his calm and patient coaching. For 3 of the days we were joined by a trainee instructor who belayed and gave additional instruction while Anthony abseiled down to instruct me as I led (he's also a great photographer so I came away with a ton of amazing photos). We had one horrific weather day and despite the offer to go scrambling, I opted to learn some emergency skills in the local climbing gym with Tarquin another instructor who was also fantastic.A few weeks later and we've been putting everything he taught us into practice at the crag, I can't recommended Anthony enough.

I had 3 days of wonderful guided rock climbing with Higher Climbing on the sea cliffs in Anglesey.Anthony was patient, kind and demonstrated real knowledge of his craft.Would definitely recommend!!
