Asda Chesser Supercentre

I dunno who done it, but the morning of 15/11/23 I done a quick shop and unknowingly left an item behind, well I left and next thing I know just outside the doors a dude was chasing me to give me the item I forgot. Was a really nice gesture tbh, most places would just pop that back on the (If anyone from high office reading this, check the cams from around 6.20am, dude needs thanked and applauded for his service)Not only restored hope in asda, but restored hope in humanity! Top guy. Was just a pack of noodles not worth much at all, but the sentiment really filled my heart with joy and the dude really needs to know his above and beyond service is not unnoticed.

Really gone downhill in past couple or so years. Went into today were most shelves and especially freezer sections all looked like they'd been ransacked, and worse some products seemed to be placed whereever leaving an unsightly mess. I felt bad for the one lonely person working on checkouts. Think I'll shop elsewhere in future after experiencing such a sorry state.

This is an incredible supermarket. I'm never gonna give up going here. It's a shame that they're never gonna let down their prices but ASDA is no stranger to that. Top notch stuff! The apples are especially scrumptious!

I was shopping tonight with my partner after I had finished work. (I had my uniform on which is a care assistants tunic) I forgot that the toilets shut at 10:00pm, but I made it to the toilet at exactly 09:59pm. There was a lady standing outside and watched me try to open the female door. I then asked her if I could use them to which she said no they are locked (she had the keys in her hand). I then asked what time they closed and she said 10:00 I then said, well it’s 9:59 I have 1 minute left. Again she said no. I then asked “please I am desperate I have just finished work as a carer (13 hour), may I use the disabled toilet”. Again she said no. This was quite distressing as I was really desperate. She didn’t seem to have any compassion & bluntly replied to my questions. Which I was not rude about and asked very politely. I told her that I have a hidden disability (which is 100% true) but I was happy to use the normal females as I still think the accessible toilet can be for better use than myself. I understand that people have deadlines to meet for time & there are legitimate reasons for the toilets being locked but with 1 minute still to spare I believe this was unfair treatment. This won’t stop me from shopping here at all as I shop here every other day but it just wasn’t good enough for me tonight.

More and more outdated price tags and staff refusing to amend the price or no tags at all.Also, your staff takes challenge 25 to another level. They have mass hallucinations rejuvenating people over 10 years! Seriously people, you don't get eye wrinkles until over 30! And all of them obviously younger than me not seeing that they are. At least accept scans of passports or settlement documents or anything electronic. It's not even obligatory to have an id on you. Apparently unless you want to get one bloody pint for the evening. Then it seems to be.

I would like to say thankyou to Charlene on Customer servicefor her help today trying to locate a missing parcel! She was very helpful unfortunately another colleague came across and was very rude to Charlene and my self. I was on the customer service phone and she kept interrupting and telling me to hang up. I am afraid her customer service left a lot to be desired!!!!!

1 checkout open at 5pm Monday when very busy. Had to go to self checkout if I wanted to leave in under 30mins. Then I have to place my bag in just the right way, but not yet, not till the machine tells you to. Oh wait ... I'll get a member of staff. No one ....no one ... I'll move to another self checkout .....same thing. Sod it, I'll go to Aldi. Very poor experience. I don't work there, if you want me to self checkout but you also want to inspect my empty bags in case i am a thief then get a regular checkout open and get them to scan my stuff.

No fitting room, so I have to buy several types of clothes and try them at home and return those unsuitable. It would be good to have fitting rooms. Staff are professional.

It seems this location is well nows for ASB as it's spoking about a lot online, and it has been on the news a good few times that the police have had to be called there and now there is more people speaking about ASB what is asda doing about this it's not acceptable it's a supermarket and place for people to go and relax.not a free zoo
