Braeden Pony Trekking Centre

Great pony trekking experience for my daughter and me, some challenging terrain and plenty of chances to trot and canter through beautiful scenery in Beacon Fell Country Park. Lots of flies today due to nice warm weather but didn't spoil the day.

We had a great ride. My wife and son had not ridden before and enjoyed the trek. My daughter and I are more experienced riders and we're able to have a trot and canter. Lovely views.

What can I say other than amazing. Start to finish Steph and her team are fabulous. All questions answered same day. Booking so easy. Then on the day so helpful and friendly start to finish. Clear instruction and helpful team. The ride was amazing through beautiful county side and only a small amount on the road. Thank you all so much we will be back.

Pros: beautiful scenery and lovely horsesCons: We gave 1 start because unfortunately the staff basically ignored us. They did not even introduce themselves before the ride nor gave us a brief of where we were going to go.Also, we were a small group and the other two riders apparently knew the staff. It seemed to us that the staff decided to dedicate more time to the other two riders who were more experienced making sure they had an extra trotting/cantering session.Very disappointed to see that the staff did not even approach us to ask if we would want that and at some point, they even split us to allow the other riders to have extra trotting (despite we could do it as well).The whole experience could have been even more enjoyable perhaps with some more consideration and friendliness from the staff

Phenomenal! Cannot thank these people enough. The lady in charge went above and beyond to make this a great experience for me and my children, all inexperienced riders. We went on a 1 hour hack in stunning scenery. Would recommend to anyone! 10/10

We just had a one hour pony trek for ten children and they loved it, the ponies where wonderful (my personal favourite was Babe) who had my youngest in his back and was a star! The staff where all excellent and all the children have had the most fabulous time, thank you very much we will definitely be back.

Amazing time yesterday! Fab meeting Becky and Steph! Can’t wait to go back again! Beautiful horses, stunning scenery on the 1 hr trek. Reasonably priced food for the soul ❤️ came back totally recharged and exhilarated. My horse Babe was a legend, I loved her. Can’t thank this business enough, myself and my partner had the best time ☺️☺️ and will be coming back very soon.

We had a great pony trek here. The horses were friendly and easy to ride and the scenery was beautiful. Staff were lovely (and reassuring to nervous riders) and it was fun. We had a great time and will be back with more of the family.

Braedens pony trekking centre is a great place to learn how to ride. Denis is a wonderful teacher and is great at building confidence even with nervous people or those with special needs.The pony trekking is absolutely amazing and caters for all riders beginners or advanced. Great day out for all the family. Ponies are well trained and safe to ride and staff are professional and friendly.

Lovely well trained relaxed horses, suitable for experienced and first time riders. Love going here! Great rides around Beacon fell, through a river and amazing views.
