I've popped in twice this week, once to buy an overlocker and again to get some fabric and threads. They were fantastically helpful each time and gave great advice based on their experience, whilst also giving me plenty of space to browse. If you're looking for a community orientated shop that has lots of expertise to share then this is the place. Prices were also very reasonable for the quality of the products.

This is an old fashioned community shop- the owner will know you by name and always have something she knows you’ll like. Most of the time she’ll invite you to come join them and sew - it’s a lovely sense of community! The hours are a bit flexible, because she is usually open much longer than stated. Best selection of quilting fabric in town.

The owner is extremely rude and aggressive . I don't know how in the world she runs this shop . However, two sales assistants were extremely hopeful and nice. The only thing that I would say don't buy anything from her.
